Oct 08 USA Depart for Beijing- Lose a day crossing the International Dateline.

Oct 09 Beijing Arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Rest of the evening to relax.

Oct 10 Beijing Full day tour of Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Temple of heaven (BL)

Oct 11 Beijing Enjoy- the Mutianyu Great Wall, Summer Palace and Hutong tour (BL)

Oct 12 Xian Early Check out for your express train to Xian. Afternoon arrival in time to walk along

the Ancient City wall. Enjoy a dumpling dinner and Tang Dynasty Show (BD)

Oct 13 Xian Visit the Provincial Museum and the famous Terra Cotta Warriors

Late Afternoon flight to Chengdu –overnight at Ya’an City (BL)

Oct 14 Bifengxia Morning visit to Bifengxia Reserve. You can choose to volunteer* (see note)

for two days or to just walk around the reserve (BD)

Oct 15 Bifengxia Visit Bifengxia or volunteer with the Pandas. Overnight (BD)

*The Volunteer Program is currently suspended due to the Distemper Outbreak, which resulted in the

death of four pandas at the Shaanxi Panda Center. We hope by October the program will be resumed, but

we cannot guarantee you will be able to volunteer. You can still visit the reserve and see many pandas.

Oct 16 Chengdu Check out and Drive to Leshen-take a short boat trip to visit the Grand Buddha-

The World‘s Largest Stone carved Buddha Statue. Return to Chengdu with a visit

to Huanglongxi. Evening Dinner. Overnight (BLD)

Oct 17 Chengdu Morning check out and drive to Dujiangyan Panda Base. Afternoon return

To Chengdu airport Hotel overnight (BL)

Oct 18 USA Departure flight to USA or join optional tours. Please contact Kim for additional tours.

Cost per person based on 2 people per room: $3095.00

Includes the following:

Accommodations with daily breakfast.

Sightseeing as indicated in the itinerary and includes all entrance fees.

Meals as indicated, B-breakfast, L Lunch, D Dinner

English speaking guides and all transfers.

75-60 days prior to departure Main tour $350.00

59-31 days prior to departure Main tour $750.00 Option tour $700.00
