ASTRO LPRLIGHT POLLUTION RESISTANCE FILTER

ASTRO LPR

Using a IAD (Ion Assisted Deposition) System, which irradiatesand ionizes the base material from an ion gun inside of avapor deposition machine, creates a film with higher adhesion coating than normal formed by gas.

ASTRO LPR FILTER - TYPE II

This filter will transmit most of the light fromheavenly bodies, cutting artificial light such asmercury lamps or sodium vapor lamps, whichare the main sources of light pollution.

This filter provides a clear image, filtering outlight pollution in astronomical observation orphotography. Because light pollution only is filtered, changes in color balance will be wellabsorbed, making image processing easier forphotography.

Coating technology by an IAD (ion assisteddeposition) system creates coherent multilayerfilms, making for a harder and more durablecoating. Because a synthesis fused silica glassis used, the surface accuracy of the glass isexcellent which enables a higher quality of photography.

Here is a filter which transmits only the light ofindispensable wavelengths for the observationand photography of a nebula, a star cluster, acomet, etc. The contrast of an astral bodybecomes high and it becomes visible. Magnification can be chosen by changing the type of closeup lens. Vivid details can be depicted of a flower or an insectexpanding the ability of capturing a world which cannot usually be seen.

DG SERIES

Extension tubes are designed to enable a lens

to focus closer than its normal set minimum

focusing distance. Getting closer has the effect

of magnifying your subject (making it appear

larger in the viewfinder and in your pictures).

They are exceptionally useful for macro

photography, enabling you to convert almost

any lens into a macro lens at a fraction of the

cost while maintaining its original optical quality.

The DG extension tubes have no optics. They

are mounted in between the camera body and

lens to create more distance between the lens

and film plane. By moving the lens father away

from the film or CCD sensor in the camera, the

lens is forced to focus much closer than normal.

The greater the length of the extension tube, the

closer the lens can focus.

PRO 300 AF 1.4X and 2.0X DGX 1.4X, 2X TELEPHOTO CONVERTER

KENKO TELEPLUS PRO 300 DGX convertersare made with precision quality multi-coatedoptical glass supplied by Hoya Corporation, theworlds largest manufacturer of optical glass.These glass elements were designed to matchthe optical quality of the prime lens (even at theedges) and telephoto zoom lenses. The opticaldesign of the elements and light path is wideenough not to cause vignetting.

The PRO 300 family are designed specifically tobe used with prime telephoto lenses of 100mm orabove, such as 300 mm f/2.8 lenses, and workbest with telephoto lenses of 200mm to 500mm.The PRO 300 can be used with telephoto zoomlenses as well as prime lenses. However, Kenkodoes not recommend them for zoom lenses thathave a range starting under 50 mm.

KENKO PRO 300 AF TELEPLUS converters havegenuine Gate Array IC (Integrated Circuitry). Itmeans that the converter’s own unique circuitrymaintains signal integrity between the camerabody and lens. These converters are designed toelectronically operate the same way as an originalmanufacturer’s converter.

Full AF operation with PRO 300 2.0X DGX is possible when using camera lenses with maximum aperture of F2.8 or brighter. Please beaware that AF will work properly only if there isenough light and contrast on the subject to activate the camera’s AF sensors. (Manual focusingis required when using lenses with smaller maximum f-stop value than those given above.)

With the PRO 300 1.4X DGX, full AF operation ispossible with camera lenses having a maximumaperture of F4 or brighter. The same light andcontrast requirements apply.

The TELEPLUS DGX converters have updated circuitry to record exif data more accurately. In theexif exposure data (meta-data recorded with adigital picture) TELEPLUS DGX converters recordthe equivalent aperture and focal length of thelens setting plus tele-converter. Optically andmechanically they are the identical to the priorhigh-quality TELEPLUS DG series converters.

Placed between the camera body and lens, a

teleconverter contains a set of optics that will

effectively increase the focal length of any lens

with which it is used. The KENKO TELEPLUS

HD 1.4X / 2.0X DGX converter has the effect of

multiplying the focal length of your lens by

1.4x / 2.0x, turning a 300mm lens into an

equivalent 420mm lens for the 1.4x and

600mm for the 2.0x.

Both the HD 1.4X and 2.0X DGX converters

have genuine Gate Array IC (Integrated

Circuitry). This means the converter’s unique

circuitry maintains signal integrity between the

camera body and lens. The 3~5-element design

made with high quality multi-coated optical

glass supplied by Hoya Corporation, the world’s

largest manufacturer of optical glass.

Full AF operation with the TELEPLUS HD 2.0X /

1.4X is possible using a camera lens with an

open aperture of F4 or brighter while the 2.0X

DGX would require an open aperture of F2.8 or

brighter. Please be aware that AF will work

properly only if there is enough light and contrast

on the subject to activate the camera’s AF

sensors properly. (Manual focusing may be

necessary when using lenses with smaller open

f-stop values than that given above.)

The TELEPLUS DGX converters have updated

circuitry to record exif data more accurately.

In the exif exposure data (meta-data recorded

with a digital picture) TELEPLUS DGX converters

record the equivalent aperture and focal length

of the lens setting plus teleconverter. Optically

and mechanically they are identical to the prior

high-quality TELEPLUS DG converters.

Lens performance has been improved

dramatically as compared to the MC4 and MC7

models. The improvement in resolution is

especially marked, 150% for 1.4X and 180% for

2X respectively in comparison to the current

models.

This M Mount Adapter allows to attach Leica M Mount Lenses to themirror-less type camera bodies. All the products are designed andmanufactured in Japan.

LM Adapter

This mount adapter allows to attach L lens by Leica (screw mount) to M mount (bayonet mount) body. M-type Leica body provides several finder frame as a function of appropriate frame size of the interchangeable lens. When the lens is exchanged, an appropriate framewill be displayed in the finder automatically.

KFM-1100 AUTO DIGI METERFor Both Flash and Ambient Light Readings Simple, Easy-to-Use, Accurate

The Kenko KFM-1100 Autometer is a user-friendlyand ergonomically designed light meter for readingboth ambient and flash light. This simple and reliablemeter is both comfortable in your hand and logicallydesigned, with a minimum of confusing buttons.

The large LCD display reads out in "F" numbers in10ths of stops and in 1/2 stop increments in apointer scale across the top of the display. With ashutter speed range of 1/8000 second to 30 minutes, this meter is quite sensitive. In its cinemode, frame rates of 8-128 can be achieved.

As a flash meter, the KFM-1100 can be used with orwithout a sync cord, and has an aperture range ofF/1.0 - f/128. As an added bonus, both flash andambient lighting can be analyzed to determine thelighting ratio of any scene. This feature is very handyin scenes where a flash is being used to "open up"a shadowed area left by ambient (natural) light.

The meter's "Calculation" function can be used toaverage measurements that have been stored inmemory, very useful in reflected light measurements,to capture highlight or shadow detail more accurately.

The KFM-1100 can store 2 measurements that canbe recalled for reference or for averaging. Just pressthe "M" button after each reading to store it in memory. If the memory has two readings stored, itwill delete the oldest reading to store the currentinformation.

The Kenko KFM-2200 Cine & Flash Meter is a digital handheld exposure meter capable of bothincident and reflected light measurement, includingflash and strobes. The KFM-2200 utilizes a sphericaldiffuser with a 270° rotation angle for most readings, including the ability to take a 1° spotmeasurement using the viewfinder. It can then useone of three measurement modes depending onyour specific needs.

For working with both cinema and still photographyuse, there are a variety of additional settings, especially a large selection of shutter speeds from30 minutes to 1/16000 second. It even features aflash sync terminal for metering your strobes for stillphotography. Also, it can display an aperture rangefrom f/1.0 to f/128 and 9/10.

The digital LCD display is backlit to increase readabilityand shows a variety of parameters, each of whichcan be set to determine proper exposure values foryour camera settings. The KFM-220 also features aviewfinder with diopter adjustment for taking spotmeasurements of reflected light. It includes a softcase and strap for storage and travel.

KCM-3100 COLOR METERKnowing the color temperature before taking a photograph saves you time and money

The Kenko KCM-3100 Color Temperature Meterreads both ambient and flash light. In photography,accuracy is what counts. When shooting in any kindof mixed lighting scenario, a good, reliable color temperature meter is the only true and proven wayto get accurate readings. In areas such as commercial,fashion and certainly architectural work, a colortemperature meter is a "must".

This meter is designed with a minimum of clutterand is very user-friendly. The large LCD readoutcombined with its variety of features make thismeter a top contender.

The KCM-3100 has 3 display modes for displayingcolor temperature. Each mode is designed for acertain type of photography or filtering system. LB(Light Balancing) index is used to select the necessary amber or blue LB filter; The Mired difference between the specific photographic colortemperature for the selected film type and thelight source.

CC (Color-Correction) displays the Kodak filter number(s) of the necessary light-balancing filter(s) tomake for easy selection of the required light balancing filter. Whereas the LB system uses amberor blue filters, the CC system uses magenta orgreen color compensating filters.

Finally, it displays photographic color temperature indegrees Kelvin. This is a useful setting to determinefiltration based on the light source and the spectralsensitivity of the film used.

Other benefits of this meter are its ability to read ineither sync or non-sync mode, i.e. without a cord. Italso has an "Analyzer Mode" for measurement offlash lighting only. Setting the shutter speed to "F",the meter will only read light from flash.
