Please ask for our dealer’s advice in order to choose the product that suits your needs and is ideal for your windows.

Insect screens can be installed whenever you desire no matter if the building is new or the windows were already installed.

Make sure you have the available space needed for every product that you may choose.

All of our products can be powder coated upon request at the same colour chosen for your windows.

In case of Wood or PVC windows the colour is chosen among the available RAL, Anodizing or Wood imitation colours palette.

The type and available colour of mesh screen differs depending on the model.

Keep your insect screens clean and protect them from the sun rays and the dust whenever your windows are closed. Use only water and neutral deter-gents in case you want to clean them.

GS has studied a set of items that will allow you to keep your insect screens always clean and in working order. Cleaning & Maintenance KIT consists of Lubricant spray, Air spray and Cleaning spray and is recommended for your periodical cleaning.

All of GS’s products are tailor made and can be repaired upon request.

why choose insect screens…Why use insect screens in my home area? Apart from the protection from insects, what more can they offer me?

The answer is apparently obvious. But dwelling a little longer upon this question we discover that there are several reasons that actually demonstrate their multidi-mensional contribution to the protection of our home environment. We spend approximately 90% of our time indoors, at home or at work and breathe as an average 22,000 times during the day. Insect screens allow us to leave the windows open being in direct contact with the external environment and at the same time having a natural ventilation of the room, without worrying about the invasion of annoying insects.

Natural ventilation is a fundamental Natural technique of reducing the heat in buildings during warm seasons and it contributes to air circulation through Natural cooling. Moreover, removal of harmful gases (CO2, CO), unpleasant substances (odors, smoke) and dangerous pollutants that can be emitted by building materials is achieved. Just think that the air inside a building can be up to five times more polluted than the air outdoors.

Let us also not forget the extreme importance of light. The sun acts as a natural antidepressant. What could be better for our mood than opening our windows and letting the light - and only this - get into our house while maintaining humidity at acceptable levels?

According to measurements, energy recordings and simulations in houses located in Greece, saving of large amounts of electricity and a decline of 75% to 100% of the cooling load due to ventilation is achieved. These results highlight the thermal comfort conditions inside buildings and the potential substitution of mechanical air conditioning systems to natural ones.

Therefore, the answer to a question such as “why screens" is their contribution to human health, protection of the environment and energy and money saving.
