Matt Huerta Monterey Bay Economic

Partnership Affordable Housing

The “Monterey Bay Economic Partnership (MBEP) is a

regional member-supported nonprofit organization

consisting of public, private and civic entities located

throughout the counties of Monterey, San Benito and Santa

Cruz. Founded in 2015, our mission is to improve the

economic health and quality of life in the region.”

Housing Program Manager Matt Huerta, “engages in

several volunteer activities including serving on the Boards

of the Nonprofit Housing Association of Northern California

and California Coalition for Rural Housing. He earned a

B.S. in Community and Regional Development from the

University of California at Davis where he also served as the President of the Associated Students during

Matt is also the Managing Owner of “Matt Huerta Consulting, LLC (MHC). He has over 20 years of

experience developing hundreds of affordable rental and for sale homes and overseeing high-impact
