Happy New Year!

I hope your holidays were enjoyable. Thechildren in our care make holidays andevery day happy! Our Christmas Programwas well received. For children eighteenmonths old through three years to stay infront of a group of adults to sing and justsmile is a feat! Then the Pre-K presenteda wonderful Pageant, like a bunch ofexperts! They are braver than I am! I amvery proud of each and every one of them.

We would like to thank Marc Karis againfor spreading his Christmas cheer throughour school with a luncheon for all of thestaff. Thank you Marc for a delicious treat!

We returned from our break to celebrateEpiphany at Chapel with Pastor. Thechildren love the story of the Three Kingslong trip to Baby Jesus' Birthday Party. Wehad Music Class with Dr. Pinto and Yogawith Miss Chris.

Two of our Infants “graduated” to theToddler Room and two of our toddlers“graduated” to the Pre-K room! I am happyto report everyone has adjusted well totheir new rooms and new friends.

The older children in the Infant Room arebusy dancing to music and playing withtheir musical toys, to the delight of theiryounger classmates. The toddlers areexcited to build with blocks and play withthe kitchens. They will anxiously greet allvisitors with warm smiles. The Pre-Kstudents love to prepare meals and pushtheir babies in the strollers in the family lifearea. Proudly they will show you one oftheir many projects that they have

completed.

Soon we will be talking about groundhogsand whether or not winter will continue forsix more weeks. We have had it pretty mildthus far; however, I heard that is about tochange, so we will see.

Stay warm!Fondly,Melissa Bires-McGee

The Day Care would like to send our condolences to thefamily of our alumnus student, Sarah Heins, on thepassing of her father, Stephen Heins. When I think ofhim, I see his smile and hear his laughter. You are all inmy heart and prayers.
