KIM NIELSEN
Kim is one of our newer members but in the short time he has been with the Lodge, he has really
stepped up in helping with meals. He brings in food on nights when there is nothing planned and was a great help getting the outdoor structure completed.
If you see Kim, please thank him for his dedication to our Fraternity.

ADMINISTRATOR’S MESSAGE By Gail Marlatt We are in need of some volunteers who would like to work with the Board contacting the members who have not paid their dues for January and February. Just come to the Lodge and contact a Board member or myself or our Secretary, Jeanetta, and we will be available to get you started. As of March 18th there were 81 members who need to pay their dues by March 31. THANKS! We are getting an extreme amount of newsletters back for bad addresses, both men and women. Then we find that you moved and did not contact the Office. PLEASE—call the Lodge and give your name and new address. The number is 559-294-8269. We have another request. PLEASE, when you are signing up a new member, man or woman, make sure we can read your writing! I told Jeanetta I may have to send her to a “hi-er-glyphics” class! Really, some of them we have to call to find the correct information for the many applications that are impossible to read. THANKS for your help on this. Remember this—April 30th is the FINAL DAY of the current campaign year. We need to show a Plus 1 in membership over last campaign to qualify for all the discounts on our insurances and more. In case you haven’t heard, we are looking for dona-tions to pour the concrete under our new shelter. If you decide to donate, we will put your name on a brick around the outside of the concrete embedded. Some have donated $20, some more. Some others who could afford it donated much more. I will follow up with our progress in the next MooseLine. I said it before and will say it one more time. THANK YOU for what you do in any way to support YOUR Lodge!

SENIOR REGENT MESSAGE I wish you all a very Happy Easter and I hope you are en-joying the warmer weather. It is hard to believe my term is coming to an end as your Senior Regent. I want to thank all the Co-workers for the opportunity to serve you this last year. The convention was a huge success and congratulations to Leta Smith for achieving the Academy of Friendship Degree. Thank you to all our MANY Co-workers who represented our Chapter in Reno. Sandy Felix and Carol Rice will be hosting our annual Spring Tea. It will be on April 7th at Noon. I look forward to the great table decorations and the scrumptious food. Tickets are still available. We encourage you to bring a friend or family member to introduce them to our Moose Home. April is a busy month. I suggest you mark your calendars now - I would not want you to miss out! Our first meeting of the month on April 10th is an OPEN meeting hosted by the Higher Degree Committee to honor Ms Leta Smith for receiv-ing her Academy of Friendship at the Reno Conference. Great job, Leta! The Installation of the New Board of Officers will be on April 14h beginning with the Chapter at 11 am. We will be sharing this ceremony with our Moose Brothers. Well, we are really starting to feel busy around here! First thing on the agenda is the Car Show! Our 1st meeting is April 5th. Don’t worry if you can’t make it on such short notice because the 2nd meeting is April 19th. We continue to spruce up the grounds and a garden is soon to be planted. There is a fundraiser coming to fund the concrete that will go under our new Canopy. Look for a valuable Coupon Book to go on sale. Winter is over. We look forward to Social Quarters getting its much needed repairs. Don’t forget Mother’s Day and Father’s Day will be here in no time. For KIDZ TYME, watch the calendar for gift mak-ing projects. You can see in this small article just a few of the activities coming down the pike that really need YOUR help. Looking forward to working with you AND having fun. Your Moose Volunteer, Diane
