St. Francis of Assisi Award

The Archbishop’s St. Francis of Assisi Award is a recognition and expression of gratitude to models of Catholic faith through their dedicated service to others. The award recipients are vital to the life of their parish and their service to the church is pleasing to God. The Award is presented annually to one individual or married couple from each parish in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. Each recipient receives a custom-designed medallion of the image of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of our Archdiocese.

Aniseto and Estella Elwell

Aniseto and Estella Elwell have been members of our parish since the early 1980’s. They have served and continue to serve our parish in many different ministries. They are both Communion Ministers serving at weekday and weekend Masses, and taking Communion to the homebound. They have taught religious education classes and continue to be involved in our Small Christian Communities, Christmas Posadas, and have been collection counters for over twenty years. Until last year they worked tirelessly as members of our Parish Fiesta Committee. Aniseto and Estella have five children, twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, many of whom are members of our faith community.

Aniseto y Estella Elwell

Aniseto y Estella Elwell han sido miembros de nuestra parroquia desde principios de la década de 1980. Han servido y continúan sirviendo a nuestra parroquia en muchos ministerios diferentes. Ambos son ministros de comunión que sirven en misas entre semana y los fines de semana y llevan la comunión a los confinados. Han impartido clases de educación religiosa, continúan participando en nuestras pequeñas comunidades cristianas, Posadas de Navidad y han sido contadores de la colecta durante

más de veinte años. Hasta el año pasado trabajaron incansablemente como miembros de nuestro Comité Parroquial de la Fiesta. Aniseto y Estella tienen cinco hijos, doce nietos, veinte bisnietos y dos tataranietos, muchos de los cuales son miembros de nuestra comunidad de fe.

Seasons of Hope is a Christ-centered faith sharing group to help

A Call For Artists – The Norbertine Community of Santa Maria de la Vid Abbey

hosts Art at the Abbey’s fourth annual art exhibition on the theme, “What is Holiness?”

As holiness transcends religion and creed, we welcome submissions that reflect a diversity of understandings,

experiences, and perspectives. This year’s art exhibition will run from

November 22-December 13.

Traveling Fatima Statue

The Legion of Mary is in care of the Traveling Fatima Statue. Parishioners can request the statue to be taken to their homes to pray the Rosary with family and friends.
