The SPRED model also provides opportunities for children and adolescents to grow in faith through a similar process within a SPRED group of their peers. Our mission is to coordi-nate with other parishes in our area to offer SPRED to those of all ages who seek to grow in faith through friendship in a very welcoming and peaceful environment. If you know of someone who wants to participate in SPRED or if you are interested in becoming a mentor or helper cate-chist, contact Christa at 595-0385, x119 or Miki at 596-7162.

2013 Annual Diocesan Appeal: Solidarity in Mission

If you made a pledge to the 2013 Appeal, the Diocese has begun sending reminders so you can fulfill your pledge. Please note that if you chose an auto-debit off your checking account or credit card, you will not receive a reminder. It is important for all of our parishioners to complete their pledges. The assistance that is provided to the ministries and programs the Appeal supports, such as grants to our mission parishes, heating and grocery assistance to families, health insurance for our retired priests and tuition for our future priests to attend the seminary, is based on what is collected. In addition, all parishes receive back a portion of their funds collected. This means the more we collect, the more we can address our important parish needs. This year, the funds returned will be used to support Youth and Young Adult ministries in the parish, as well as continuing to support edu-cation programs throughout the parish. Thank you for your continued support of the important ministries and programs that are made possible due to your generosity to the Annual Appeal.

Nursery

Do you have a gently used Kitchen Playset that your children or grandchildren have outgrown? Call Christa at 595-0385 if you have one to do-nate to the church Nursery. Thank so much!
