Dear Friends,

T oday is the Feast of the Holy Family. We know that the Holy Family practiced love, patience, for-giveness, and gratitude with one another, even as the Lord taught us to do. We can honor them by doing the same. There are many examples of how a family can live as Jesus taught us to do. Here at Our Lady of Hope we are truly a family mainly because of the way many parishioners come together to show gratitude and love toward one another. A great example of that is the wonderful and superb response by you, our ded-icated parishioners, who generously gave gifts to the Giving tree so that needy children would have a toy or gift for Christmas. Also, a wonderful group of parishioners who decorated the church for Christmas. Their names will be listed in next week’s bulletin. These are just a few examples of how our parish family models the Holy Family at Nazareth. Yours in Christ,

Very Rev. Michael A. Carrano
