This Sunday we celebrate Good Shepherd Sunday and Mother’s Day. First a few thoughts on Mother’s Day. My brother Michael and I have been blessed by God with the gift of a great Mom. My Mother has loved us from the womb and has taught us so many things; like respect for others, family, faith, and to always be forgiving and kind. She has left us a treasure beyond price. We cherish her and love her. Today, you also remember your Mom both living and deceased. Each of you have different things your Mom has taught you, and you carry that with you all through your lives. May God bless all of our Mothers who love/d us unconditionally. In the Gospel, we hear of Jesus as the Good Shepherd. He tells us that we hear HIS VOICE, and we FOLLOW HIM, and HE LEADS US TO THE FA-THER. How beautiful is our Savior? He loves us so very much, and brings us to the heart of the Father. Each time we go to Mass, we receive Jesus who brings us into the loving hands, and heart of the Father.
In Christ,
Father Vincent

BEWARE AND BE CAREFUL
There is a scam going on where Catholic parishion-ers are receiving text messages on behalf of their “pastor” asking for help or money. In all cases, the text message was “signed” with the pastor’s FULL NAME. The text message is personalized using the parishioner’s name.
