LOS 10 LUGARES MÁS TERRORÍFICOS DE MADRID Casa de las siete chimeneas: It is a house where a woman called Elena and her husband lived. Her husband went to the war and days later Elena received a letter saying her husband’s dead. Elena got depressed and one day they found her dead body smiling on the bed. They started to investigate and when they came back to take the body it wasn’t there. For years after, people said that they had seen a ghost of a girl walking on the roof and things like that. A lot of years later, when they were reforming the house, they found a body of a woman with gold coins in her hand in a wall. Iglesia de San Ginés: The tale tells that a long time ago there was a robbery in a famous church that was called The church of Ginés where an old man was killed when he was praying. Since then, the ghost of the old man walks around the church calling for revenge. Marqués de Monasterio: It Is a street where there was a shop called “ el baul del monje” where objects appeared in different places and weird noises were heard. Objects like tables move by themselves. At first, it started when the shop was closed, always at the same hour; but later, it started when some people were there. They discovered that in the same shop, when it was a shop, a lawyer was smoking a cigarette when he fell asleep and everything started to burn and he couldn’t do anything so he died. Palacio de linares: It is one of the most emblematic places of Madrid. The workers that worked there in the beginning of the 90s told of many paranormal events, which included voices from the next life. It is known that a child was killed after being born because of being the result of an incestuous marriage of the aristocracy.
