Head Lice Alert
K/1’s Assembly Went Off
with a BANG!
K/1 love learning, especially when it’s about something they are
interested in! Last week K/1 were asked to choose a topic that
interests them to learn more about. They then prepared a short
presentation on their learning for assembly. They had so much
fun learning about their interests. Thanks to the Mums and Dads
for helping them research. K/1 presented their speeches
beautifully and can be very proud of themselves. They kept
everyone on their toes with the party poppers!
Well done K/1!
What I love about Paterson Public

Principal’s Update: Week 9, Term 4 Choir Performances
All the best to our wonderful choir as they entertain local nursing homes with
a variety of Christmas carols. Many thanks to the parents who have
volunteered to provide transport to these performances this week and next.
Semester 2 Reports
Our semester 2 reports will be sent home next week. Please contact your
child’s teacher if you wish to discuss any aspect of the report.
Presentation Night
Our annual Presentation Night will be held on Tuesday, 8th December at Tocal
Hall. Students should arrive at 6.20pm in full school uniform. We look forward
to this opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our students in 2015 and
hope to see you all there.
Head Lice
We have had more reports of head lice at school. Please remember to check
your child’s head regularly. From personal experience with my own children
and myself, I know how incredibly difficult it is to get rid of head lice and
treatment needs to occur regularly and sometimes over a long period of time.
Hats and bedding also need to be treated. Please find attached some infor-
mation about breaking the cycle.
Creative Arts Concert
We are busily preparing for our annual creative arts concert. It will take
place on Friday, 11th December at 12.30pm. We are expecting the concert to
conclude at approx. 1.30pm. We hope you can join us.
Holiday Chook Care
As the school holidays are fast approaching, we are looking for some kind
families to foster our chickens. We already have
two families who have offered to take some, if
you can help out please let Mrs Compton know.
If necessary, the coop could be available to use.
Diary Dates
The remainder of the year is looking very full.
Please check our school calendar and make sure
that the dates are in your diary.
Have a wonderful week.
