Missions Sunday Lunch Please make plans to stay after worship today as we share a meal together & thank God for providing for Missions in 2017. Brisket and drinks are being provided. Kaufman Christian Help Center’s February Food Wish List Spaghetti Sauce, Spaghetti, Canned meat, Crackers. Wednesday Night Adult Study – “Eat This Book” Join us Wednesday nights at 7:00pm for a conversation about the Bible and how to read the Bible in the best possible ways. We’re exploring questions like: Why do we read? And, how can we read so that our lives match the words we digest? Children’s Offering Update Special thanks to our kids! Each week they give to Mercy Project that is working in Ghana to rescue kids from trafficking situations. Last week they gave $97 toward this effort. Please remember in prayer: Walter Yandell has been transferred to Healthsouth, 2142 Northhaven Rd, Room 304, Dallas 75230 for rehabilitation. A Conversation About Poverty We are hoping you will join us for a conversation about poverty in our town and Kaufman County. Our goal is to create effective, vibrant projects that will give a HAND UP to folks who don’t have adequate resources – physically, economically and spiritually. We hope to raise awareness, provide current information and inspire all of us to take Jesus’ Mission Statement in Luke 4 SERIOUSLY!! WHEN: February 12 or February 19 – 12:15 to 5 pm LUNCH is provided. WHO: All Willing hearts and minds: Singles ,couples, parents and teens, seniors – CHILD CARE IS PROVIDED. TO DO: Sign up at the Display in the Foyer – ASAP – Space Limited. Ladies Bible Class Join us this Tuesday, February 7th at 10:00am in the Parlor The discussions will go along with the study called “Redeemed” by Angela Thomas Pharr. It’s a Biblical understanding of what it means to be redeemed. All ladies welcome!!
