I. RAZN

Durante las inspecciones visuales efectuadas se han detectado diversos daos permisibles en el fuselajey entelamiento; en los cuales hay indicios de corrosin en la estructura primaria de la aeronave CHAC,as como desprendimiento de pintura y perdida de la piel del empenaje, daando las propiedades delmismo y deformndola hasta un grado que puede provocar la fractura.

I. REASONDuring visual inspections have revealed several allowable damage to the fuselage and on the fabric, where there are indications ofcorrosion in the primary structure of the aircraft CHAC and paint detachment and loss of the tail skin, damaging and deforming

properties thereof to a degree can cause crack.

II. DESCRIPCIN

Realizar una inspeccin de corrosin u oxidacin en el fuselaje y empenaje de la aeronave, ya quepuede haber roturas, principalmente ubicada en el estabilizador horizontal. Esto puede estar ocurriendodebido a que hay desprendimiento de pintura.

Esta Orden de Ingeniera proporciona las instrucciones necesarias para efectuar la inspeccin visual /reparacin del fuselaje de la aeronave CHAC XA-XEJ de acuerdo a lo siguiente:

II. DESCRIPTION

Perform an inspection of corrosion or oxidation in the fuselage and empennage of the aircraft, since there may be cracks, mainlylocated in on the horizontal stabilizer. This may be occurring because paint is evolved.

This Engineering Order provides instructions to perform the visual inspection / repair of the fuselage of the aircraft XA-XEJ CHACaccording to the following:

III. CUMPLIMIENTO

El cumplimiento de la siguiente OI es efectiva desde el momento de la recepcin.

Se tienen 21 das calendario a partir de la recepcin del documento o no exceder las siguientes 100horas de servicio, para realizar el procedimiento.

Dependiendo de los resultados obtenidos en cada inspeccin del fuselaje, el Departamento deProgramacin y Control de la Produccin programar las actividades de acuerdo con lo siguiente:

Compliance with the following OI is effective upon receipt.

Si no se encontraron roturas en el fuselaje, continuar con la aplicacin de pintura.

CONDICIN IISE ENCONTRARON ROTURAS DENTRO DEL LMITE PERMISIBLE

Si el fuselaje presenta roturas que se encuentran dentro del lmite de reparacin, reparar yreinspeccionar la estructura.

CONDITION IISCRATCHES OR CRACKS CONFINED TO FABRIC AREA ONLY

If it found cracks or scratches allowable or in tolerance limits damage, repair and inspect repetitively fuselage.

A. Quitar las cubiertas.

Remove the panels.

B. Retirar el entelamiento del empenaje.

Remove the fabric of the empennage.

C. Realizar una inspeccin visual sobre toda la estructura de la aeronave para identificar zonas conpresencia de corrosin.

Perform a visual inspection on the entire airframe to identify areas with the presence of corrosion.

D. Clasificar los daos.

Sort the damage

E. Eliminar de la estructura del fuselaje, una vez que se hallan identificando aquellas zonas concorrosin.

Remove both the fuselage structures as wings, which are once identifying areas with corrosion.

F. Remover corrosion.

Remove corrosion.

G. Aplicar tanto en los sujetadores como en la estructura un primer para evitar la corrosin.

Apply both fasteners on the structure as a first to prevent corrosion.

H. Remover pintura de las cubiertas.

K. Entelar las reas daadas del fuselaje, siguiendo el manual de entelamiento y con los materialesadecuados para el entelado.

Place the fabric needed to damaged areas of the empennage, following its manufacturer's manual and with the rightmaterials for the lining.

L. Aplicar una capa de dope sobre la superficie de la tela que se haya colocado en cualquiersuperficie de la aeronave.

Apply a coat of dope on the surface of the fabric has been placed on any surface of the aircraft.

M. Inspeccionar el entelamiento para evitar posible desprendimiento.

Inspect the fabric to avoid possible detachment.

N. Aplicar pintura sobre la aeronave.

1.- Comenzar por observar la aeronave, haciendo una inspeccin visual de esta y determinando los

posibles daos a la estructura, tambin observando que tanta corrosin presenta, etc.

2.- Realizar una inspeccin para determinar los daos que se alcanzan a observar por fuera son algunas

abolladuras, corrosin en los tornillos y daos menores como desgaste en la pintura, ralladuras en el

parabrisas de acrlico, y algunos daos en la estructura como corrosin.

and wear on the paint, scratches on the acrylic windshield, and some structural damage such as corrosion.

3. Desmantelar la aeronave, ya que se tiene que revisar la estructura, y se fue quitando pieza por pieza,

comenzando por la piel de la parte trasera.

Dismantle the aircraft, as we need to review the structure, and was removing piece by piece, starting with the skin of the tail.

NOTA:

Por cada parte que se comienza a quitar, se debe guardar toda tornillera, tubera, cables de conexin,

etc.

NOTE:

5.-Por ltimo despus de desarmar por completo la aeronave, retirar parte del cableado y otros objetos

que se encontraban en el CHAC.

6. Haciendo una inspeccin visual de nuevo, observar de manera muy clara el dao que ha sufrido la

estructura, y el principal de ellos que es la corrosin y deterioramiento por tiempo, humedad etc.

NOTA:se observa que la estructura se encuentra muy daada, con partes pintadas aun, otras muycorrodas y otras en donde se alcanza a ver el primer.

1.- Durante la inspeccin se encontraron varios daos.

During inspection have found several damages.

2.- El principal de ellos es la corrosin y es en el que se va a centrar la reparacin.

The main damage is corrosion and is the one is going to focus the reparation.

3.- Adems de las abolladuras y tornillos corrodos, en las lminas la pintura ya est gastada y se

muestran varios rayones en ellas.In addition to the dents and corroded bolts in the sheets and paint is worn and displayed several scratches on them.

4.- Para comenzar a reparar, colocar una capa de removedor de pintura a cada parte de la aeronave.

First apply a layer of remover on every part of the aircraft.

NOTA: Despus de aplicar primer, pintura o removedor dejas reposar por 24 horas en una zonaventilada y libre de humedad.

NOTE: After applying primer, or paint remover let it rest for 24 hours in a ventilated area free of humidity.

5.- Despus de esperar el tiempo necesario para que el removedor hiciera efecto, continuar quitando las

partes restantes de pintura y de primer, con esptulas hasta dejar el puro aluminio.

After waiting the necessary time to take effect remover, continue removing remaining portions of pa int and primer, with knives up to

leave the pure aluminum.

6.- Comenzar a lijar las cubiertas para eliminar corrosin y residuos de pintura o primer.

7.- Efectuar el mismo procedimiento con las cubiertas del fuselaje. Remover restos de pintura.

8.- Remover la pintura con una esptula.

Remove the paint with knives.

9.-Al final quitar los residuos y la corrosin con lija, casi hasta terminar en acabado espejo.

At the end remove debris and corrosion with a sandpaper, just almost to mirror finish.

10.-Hacer lo mismo con piezas pequeas restantes, las cuales se fueron quitando de la aeronave, as

como en el tren de aterrizaje.

Do the same with remaining small pieces, which were have been remove from the aircraft, as well as the landing gear.

11.- Proteger con pintura las dems partes del CHAC, sin pintar ms de lo necesario.

Protect paint other parts of CHAC, without painting in excess.

12.- Aplicar primer en la estructura, cubiertas y dems piezas pequeas restantes, para proteger y evitarcorrosin a la estructura.

Apply primer on the structure, panels and other small parts remaining, to protect and prevent corrosion.

13.- Comenzar a entelar la parte del fuselaje que se encuentra cerca del estabilizador horizontal.

Start to cover the fuselage with textiles all the horizontal stabilizer.

14.- Aplicar una capa de pintura sobre la estructura entelada.

15.- Pintar la estructura de color blanco y finalmente dar el acabado a las cubiertas.

16.- Pintar la tela.

Apply paint on the fabric.

17.-Colocar tornillera.

Place the fasteners.

18.- Por ultimo ensamblar las piezas restantes.
