i) What do Ultraframe do?

Ultraframe fabricate, supply and install Conservatories, Orangeries, Replacement roofs and Extensions.

ii) The Unequivocal, definitive, difference between a Conservatory and an Orangery!

For a building to qualify as a conservatory, 75% of the roof has to be made out of either; Polycarbonate or Glass. The surrounding walls also have to be made out of Polycarbonate or Glass adding up to at least 50%.

Anything below these parameters is classed as an Orangery.

iii) Ultraframe’s Mission Statement

Ultraframe's mission is to be the leading provider of conservatory systems for home improvement and new housing applications in the UK and Europe.

iv) Brief Company History

Ultraframe was started in 1983 by John Lancaster as a small company manufacturing PVC windows and doors. He became aware that there was a need for a top quality roofing system in the UK market and so set about creating one.

The system known today as the Ultraframe Classic system was the result. Designed completely by an in-house team, led by John Lancaster, this system is still the most configurable on the market and is widely acknowledged as the best quality system available.

This passion for innovation and development has continued and today Ultraframe is the market leader in the design and manufacture of conservatory roofing systems. Over time competitors have entered the market but we have retained our position as number 1 by maintaining a desire to provide our customers with the very best products and services. So, all the industry 'firsts' are ours - we created the industry standards when there were none. The passion for excellence continues today through our extensive and market-leading product range.

iv) Quantal & Wendland

Wendland joined us in March 2008, they are the of the three brands but still uphold the quality feel and look that any brand that has Ultraframe blood promises

Quantal, were a company of their own in 2011, residing on the south coast of England, they were known for their quality aluminium systems. Ultraframe acquired the company back in 2012 and moved the offices to Clitheroe.

It is the premium brand of all 3, and is going from strength to strength

v) The CEO

Julian Slade our Chief Executive Officer has vast experience of being at the very top, having worked for huge corporations such as Proctor + Gamble and Nestle, holding Director level positions at both.

He has a wealth of knowledge and experience and has taken Ultraframe from Strength to Strength since he joined us in 2011.

b) The First Things you should do...

i) Listen! Some of the most successful people whether they be singers, footballers, business men/women, postage stamp collectors or even cat groomers have succeeded in their roles and lives because they listened to advice.

Steve Jobs, was fired from his own company Apple inc. in 1985. He went away and listened to people that knew more than him and learnt things that he would never have grasped had he not listened, he started his second company Pixar inc. and was reinstated at Apple inc. In 1996.

If you listen to people of all backgrounds of knowledge you will acquire new levels of knowledge for your own and other people’s benefit.

ii) LearnMost people think that they stop learning as soon as they step out of school or university.

They couldn’t be more wrong, in every walk of life, no matter what it may be, there will always be someone who knows more about a certain topic than you, there is always something you can learn from someone.

iii) Work HardHard work will always overcome natural talent, when natural talent does not work hard – Sir Alex Ferguson

It doesn’t matter how good at something you are, if you do not commit yourself to it and work hard through blood, sweat and tears, success will always be one step too far away.

iv) 6 Golden rules you should follow to succeedThese 6 rules do not work one by one, If you consistently follow all 6 collectively, you will make a success of anything:

UltraSky Roof shows off a slim profile whilst delivering the very best of both the Conservatory and Orangery worlds.

It is placed on eaves beams/window frames instead of a flat roof like the lantern and delivers an unmatched flooding of natural light and increases the feeling of space incredibly.

Whilst delivering the feel of a conservatory, the UltraSky Roof shows off a traditional Orangery deck, creating the perfect marriage between the two styles.

iv) UltraSky Lantern roof and deck...

The UltraSky Lantern creates an unbelievable amount of natural light whilst projecting minimal shadow.

Weighing in at an incredible 6x4m the biggest of its kind, this is despite having 3 less bars than any other rival product.
