Vol 15 • Issue 2 December 2010 Tennessee Fund
Volunteer Representative Program
With Tennessee’s 26th victory in a row over Kentucky, the Volunteer football
team became bowl eligible and earned a bid to the Music City Bowl vs. ACC
opponent North Carolina. UT wasted no time in selling its original allotment of
tickets and approximately 16,000 tickets have been sold through the UT
Athletic Department since pre-sales began on November 27. The game will kick
off at 5:30 pm CT on December 30 at LP Field in Nashville.
Prior to the game, the Big Orange Tailgate Tour is hosting a pre-game event
from 2:30—4:30 pm at the Limelight entertainment venue. Admission is free,
and the site is located only 100 yards from the stadium at 201 Woodland Drive,
Nashville, TN 37213.
We hope to see everyone at the game and festivities on December 30, as the
Vols look to finish the 2010 football season with a victory!
Vols Going to the Music City Bowl
VS.
The Tennessee Athletic Department has recently unveiled the Volunteer Representative Program, a new initiative designed to
provide an avenue for loyal Tennessee supporters to advance Tennessee Athletics in their respective communities. All active
Tennessee Fund donors are eligible to serve in the program.
The primary roles of a Volunteer Representative are to identify potential new Tennessee Fund donors, remind current donors
to make their annual donation, communicate Tennessee Athletic news to others in your community, and to help organize
events in your district that bring Vol fans together throughout the year. The system will be divided into 13 districts (as shown
below) and will have a Tennessee Fund staff member assigned as their liaison during the year.
We are actively looking for individuals who are interested in serving as Volunteer Representatives. Remember, as a Fund
Drive Worker, you are automatically enrolled in this program as a Volunteer Representative.
The Orange Juice December 2010
25th Anniversary Bonus Points
Please remember that to help celebrate the 25th year anniversary of
the Tennessee Fund, two opportunities are being offered to improve
your priority point totals in 2011.
All annual gifts made for 2011 by March 1, 2011 will be
awarded double priority points
All donors who increase their annual gift by 25% for 2011 will
receive a one-time point bonus of 25 additional points
(equivalent to a $2,500 gift)
The 25% increase is a great way to improve your priority point total
and donor rank, which determine your parking and away game
ticket locations. For Fund Drive Workers, this bonus is a great
opportunity to pass on to donors you have been assigned in your
efforts to raise new money for the 2011 Fund Drive!
