The introduced furniture articles are a result of

close cooperation of two designers – Yakov

Marianovski, Toronto (Canada) and Amnon Darel,

Tel-Aviv (Israel). Both designers Yakov

Marianovski, of Lithuanian born, and Amnon Darel,

of Iraqi – successfully combined the approach of

the East and the West to furniture design what lead

them to creating of an absolutely original

collection. The designers materialize the energy

and graphic forms of ART DECO style. Furniture is

the delicacy of style revealing pure DECO lines. The

third decade of this age is known as a time of

fundamental changes when modernism, design

and architecture effloresced. Inspired by the

legendary era designers link and interpret new and

old influences in their own style.

In 1999 a small workshop has been found in

Lithuanian town Ukmerge for implementation of

their ideas. There is area, which was the cradle of

Lithuanian furniture manufacturing for many years.

However, to be such as we are today, there, as in any

other places, certain level of skills, mastership and

accuracy must be achieved, natural feeling of

beauty and everything what is real must be

developed in such a way enabling to distinguish

perfect products from … just good ones.

Within 10 years workshop grew up into a factory

called “Optimata” with 120 workers employed in it.

This choice to organize production in Ukmerge has

been made due to the fact that since the beginning

of XX century this country is well known for the high

skills of local craftsmen in manufacturing of

complicated articles made of solid wood. And now

factory products presents in 11 countries around

the world. “Optimata” took part in many furniture

fairs all over the world: “Krasnaya Presnya” -

For its products uses high quality, carefully

chosen, strong and beautiful birch (without knots).

Furniture is manufactured from natural birch,

finished with excellent nicely shining cherry,

walnut, wenge or light oak color which reveals the

depth of natural beauty of wood. Till seven time the

finish is putting on furniture: stain, primer, lacquer.

All these finishes are designed to protect the wood

and to bring out its natural beauty. Collection is

accentuated with details and fittings from polished

chromium, aged aluminum.

Factory manufacturing various furniture,

starting with chair and table and finishing with

beds (more often furniture manufacturers

specialize in one area), therefore, Bedroom, Dining-

room and Living-room furniture manufactured at

the factory is successfully integrated into five

general design lines. And each line integrated into

the living concept called - NIGHT & DAY … ALL IN

ONE. All the time you can live in one style.

Bedroom, living-room and dining-room furniture

The main emphasis of the„Doris“furniture line is

wooden cuts on it. British Colonial style combines

both East and European attitudes towards life.

The“NY”line is a typical sample of Art Deco style

with its abstract shapes, columns, pyramids. The

lines are joined into one by means of pyramids. We

see them springing out of the surfaces and also

inlaid into the table tops. This style could be called

“Classic American ART DECO”.

Striving for the simplicity, plainness and clarity,

the bedroom „Bravo“was designed in the style of

French classicism with traces of antique culture.

Solemnity, symmetrical design and moderate

decoration are appropriate to this style. Influence of

antique manner is evident in the articles - straight

carvings, neat and exact ornaments.

The „Ritz „furniture line is outstanding for its

Mediterranean Spanish style. In this style, which

can be easily moved to our region, too, colors of

earth prevail – terracotta (reddish brown), brick-

red, ochre, golden and yellow and dominant

yellowish orange. By means of warm and bright

colors, natural material, colorful accents and patina

we get cozy and warm article. The main emphasis is

tricky frame.

The main feature of furniture line “Lilian” and

„Perfect“ - rounded shapes, made in style of Art

Deco. Furniture of this line is notable for its neat

lines, expressive decoration and sophisticated

image. It's modern ART DECO.

Furniture reflects Italian furniture manufacturing

and timber technologies, for which a lot of tarsia's,

encrustations, carvings and double connections at

the angle of 45º is usual.

For us „hand made“ is not just a turn of speech ... All

our joiners well know wood and its individual

characteristics. We suppose it’s time to pay a tribute

to ingenuity af all joiners and thank them all ...

Paris started to copy furniture, popular in Spain at this time. French copies

acquired special charm of country style. Though furniture is made of birch, it is

covered in two colors anyway, what is typical for Mediterranean style. In this

style, which can be easily moved to our region, too, colors of earth prevail –

terracotta (reddish brown), brick-red, ochre, golden and yellow and dominant

yellowish orange. By means of warm and bright colors, natural material,

colorful accents and patina we get cozy and warm article. Fascination can be

concealed in simplicity, too – comfortable and timeless furniture ensure you

cosines and comfort. Monochrome furniture is available upon ones request, too.

Exceptional lot of handwork requires the top of the coffee-tables (art. 163

and 1606), made of milled solid wood pieces, thus revealing original ornament.

Meanwhile firm and stable construction ensures timeless deformation

resistance. The doors are made of 8 pieces of wood and 2 or 3 colors,

depending on what kind of the article you will choose – with patina or without it.

Set includes even two TV stands (art.1602 and 1601TV) with safe

compartment for Hi-fi. The side-boards (art.1603/1603A) are available with

glass door or without it. Shelf's (art. 1604/1605) is available with door or

without it. Handles in patina from Italy are fitted to this set. Unique hand

made frames.

premium quality made at the company „ECU“ in Austria. Till six times the

particular. It is 1.15 meters with and 1.8 meters long table, which can be stretched out up

to 2.6 meters, if needed. The detail, intended for prolongation, is not to be kept

somewhere apart they are concealed right in the top of the table. This allows sitting

even 14 people around the table. A lot of hand works with solid wood. The additional

detail for prolongation of the table (art.164A) is hidden in its top too This table is

smaller (1640(2290)x900x770 mm).

Ergonomic chairs (art. 49 and art.137) are available both with hard seat and with

upholstered one, which is resistant to various effects. Chairs required a lot f hand work

with solid wood in three dimension 3D (chair legs turned in three planes). Back of chairs

with inlays. Chair (art.49) design consists of repetitive elements, rear section cut from

a solid piece of wood. Chair (art.137) rear legs cut from pieces of triple bonded wood.
