Outcomes Overview



Indiana Medicaid DataTo support better data-driven decisions in health care, this Medicaid information must be made freely and openly available for the public to view and use. To protect the privacy and security of members, the data must also be de-identified.

• Over 1.4 million Hoosiers currently receive health care coverage from the Medicaid programs administered by Indiana’s Family and Social Services Administration. Combined, these programs account for $9.7 billion of health care spending annually.

Members - Information on Indiana’s 1.4 million Medicaid members, including: Location, Race/Ethnicity, Gender, Age, and Medicaid Program

Providers – Information on Indiana’s 32,000 prescribing providers including: Name and Address, National Provider Identifier (NPI), Specialties, and Practice Type

Claims – Information on the nearly 47 million annual claims filed including: Provider/Supplier, Prescriptions, Member, Cost, and Diagnosis
