The pipe rams were functioned open and closed to simulate closing the blind ram as they were not able to be closed at the time of the inspection as there was still tubing in the hole. After the initial activation of the pipe ram a slow but continual bleed off of pressure was noted. Upon investigation it was determined pipe ram control in the accumulator shack was not fully actuated causing the pressure to slowly bleed off. Once the pipe ram actuator was cleaned and lubricated the function test was conducted a second time. March 4, 2020 - 0852h: Rig Crew conducted a second round of accumulator and blowout preventer (pipe rams and annular) function tests. The pipe rams were functioned open and closed to simulate closing the blind ram as they were not able to closed at the time of the inspection as there was still tubing in the hole. The second function test maintained pressure through all three functions, the system maintained a pressure above 13.000 kPa and the entire system recharged in 1 minute 7 seconds. 1. As noted in the February 2020 inspection report, OROGO confirmed that the pressure gauge on the auxiliary controls for blow out preventer (BOP) had been replaced (See Photo #1).
