Mario will include sessions on: • A brief history of the Tarot • How to read colours and symbols in the cards • The four elements/suits and their meanings • Working with the Major and Minor arcana and court cards • Simple ways to construct clear and useful interpretations • How to synthesise cards and answer client questions • Client case studies and student examples Along the way, you’ll be introduced to many helpful tips and considerations gathered by Mario during his 15 years as a Tarot reader. Principles of Tarot: Our Approach The Universe/Life speaks to us in symbols, patterns and archetypes. This wisdom is readily available to those of us willing to invest in self-reflection and work towards self- understanding. Fortunately, the language of Tarot can help us access this wisdom directly and quickly. With its 78 cards, Tarot is one of the biggest ‘alphabets’ available to us, and every type of manifestation, happening, news or pattern can be written and deciphered using this alphabet. Tarot can help us gain insight into all areas of life – from work and family to the more profound questions of authentic life purpose, the hero’s journey of the soul, and our spiritual path. Tarot doesn’t always give us ‘the answer’ but it will always point towards what is necessary to consider and contemplate in order to gain greater insight into our lives and circumstances. Your Tutor: Mario Trevino Mario began studying Tarot and Astrology 20 years ago in his native Mexico and has been practising as a consultant for the past 15 years, using his training as a psychologist and his hands-on experience with Tarot to encourage clients to make better choices for themselves. Homework, Assignments and the LSA Certificate in TarotYou’ll be given some homework or mini-assignments to look at most weeks – these will not be marked, but they will be opportunities for you to work with the cards as you progress through the course. Every six months, there will be an optional Certificate in Tarot offered after the course for an additional fee of £25. You’ll be sent details nearer the time but you’ll also have access to a sample paper (and a video of exam advice) in your course folder. If you choose to sign up, you will have five full weeks to complete the paper at home (the examiner will take into account those who have English as their second/foreign language):

FeesThe fee of £265 includes all tuition and access to the recordings for twelve months. Mario recommends the Rider Waite or the Universal Waite deck (the deck he works with), but you can always use your own preferred deck of cards in the course.The Course Structure and ScheduleAll the course videos (pre-recorded video and sound lessons, along with printable slides) are available as soon as you sign up, and you have twelve months to view everything.There will also be live Q&A sessions during the year with Mario, and you’ll have Zoom links to these in your welcome page in the course folder. These Q&A sessions will be recorded, too, if you are unable to attend live (and you’ll have access to all the previous Q&As, too). You’ll be encouraged to submit questions about the course content and your own experiences with the Tarot. Most of these will be answered in the Q&A sessions or student forum page.All class links/recordings will remain open to students for twelve months. If you need an extension, please get in touch with us by email.You can start the course at any time, and you’ll have a year’s worth of Q&A sessions to take part in.All are welcome and no prior knowledge of Tarot is necessary.
