I. Go to www.facebook.com !II. Fill out your details in the required spaces. !III. Click “Create an account” once you have

completed your information. !Tips! • A valid email address is needed – Use

your official business email if you have one!

• If you do not have an email address, you can make one with hosts such as Google (Gmail), Hotmail (Outlook) and Yahoo etc.

• Pseudonyms and fake birthdays can be used to register for your email and Facebook accounts

VI. Add Profile Pic !Facebook gives you the option to add a profile picture to your profile. !As this is your business account, you may choose to add your brand logo.

VIII. Validate your Facebook account !To complete the Sign-Up process and use all the Facebook functions, you will need to validate your account. !!!!Visit your email inbox to check whether you have received a Sign Up email by Facebook. !If not, click “Re-send email”.

To validate: • Either click “Confirm your Account” within the email • Or return to your Facebook account to enter the 5 digit code given • Both methods will validate your account

onto your phone. “Google Play Store” for Android phones, “Windows Phone Store” for Windows phones, “App Store” for iPhones.

- (Optional) You can add a photo. This can be a photo of what you are going to sell.

- Read the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.

- Enter an email address you will check and access incase you lose your password.

- Choose a username. This can be the name of your shop. Use a strong password.

You can use pseudonyms if you wish.

5. Finish Signing Up, and get ready to start posting photos!

Fill in your username, email address and password!

Add a photo. Optional, but recommended.

End goal. After months of hard work and consistent images… You should have a good following!

“HOME” icon. Show images that you and people you follow upload.

“EXPLORE” icon. You can search worldwide for other users via their usernames. Or type words to explore images with these hashtags!

“NEWS” icon. This shows who is following you, who liked your photos and who commented on your photos.

“PROFILE” icon. This shows your own profile. !You can see images you uploaded, your followers and who you follow, and edit your profile.

Your profile picture. This is the photo uploaded earlier.

Your username. This can be your shop name. You can change it when you wish to.

Add your website link from Etsy or Ebay. !Add a description of what you are selling. You can also add shipping details and your email.

Your display name. This can be a pseudonym or name of your shop. This is what people see when they go to your Instagram profile page.

• Each image can hold effectively up to twenty different hashtags.

• Go to website “top-hashtags.com/instagram” for the most common and popular hashtags used!
