Streetart (also street art, used less frequent-ly because it could be understood as street entertainment) describes various non-com-mercial forms of art in public areas, which the initiator intends to remain there permanently. [1]
We took a look around and gathered lots of great inspiration...

In need for good ideas for product presentation?
Try this:
Use your old Euro pallets. A brush and a little paint will
add new lustre to them. Let them dry, then stack to the
desired height. Done!
Wrap various boxes in ARTEBENE gift paper and use
them to build a tower. Now decorate the ARTEBENE
theme world on the pallets.
This is how great looking decoration tables in a totally
new look can be created at reasonable cost.

Christmas celebrations C E L E B R AT I O N T I P S F O R F R I E N D S
For most of us, Christmas time is pure stress. Buying gifts – preferably at the last minute – wrapping them,
making biscuits, writing cards for relatives and friends... Give our anti-stress tip a try. We’ll show you how to
organize a relaxed spontaneous Christmas celebration for friends and family.
How you do it: Just invite your best friends to a cosy get-
together right before Christmas. Together with the invi-
tation, give your guests an empty cookie tin, which you
ask them to return that evening, filled with tasty biscuits,
of course. This will provide you with a diverse selection of
biscuits to spoil your guests with.
To beat the cold weather, it’s best to serve a hot winter
punch or mulled wine. Serve the drink in scooped-out
halved oranges or apples, decorated with cinnamon
sticks and pieces of fruit. THE eye-catcher of the evening.
Physical well-being is taken care of quickly, too: Light the
grill, throw the sausages on, done!
Can you feel your stress reducing already?!

Another tip: To spare you from a time-consuming search
for a good mulled wine recipe, we have compiled a short
list of ingredients for you:
1 litre organic mulled wine
2 organic oranges
1 sachet anise stars
2 tablespoons Cointreau
Heat the mulled wine (don’t allow it to boil). Wash the
oranges and grate the peel to thin stripes. Juice the
oranges. Add juice, peel, anise stars and Cointreau to the
mulled wine. Keep the mulled wine hot and enjoy.
A great idea and a real eye-cat-
cher: Mulled wine in “apple cups”

At Christmas, we all want to give our loved ones something with a personal character that they will enjoy.
For example, homemade apple-cinnamon syrup – a highlight in every kitchen. With this simple recipe, you
will create an unforgettable gift that is not just limited to the Christmas season.
How you do it : Peel the apples and and remove cores. Cover the apples,
cinnamon sticks and sugar with 300 ml water and boil
covered for 20 minutes until soft. To get the juice, put the
applesauce in a fine sieve and pour it over a bowl to drip,
preferably overnight.
Top up the juice with apple juice until you have 750 ml.
Pour juice and maple syrup in a pot and reduce to approx.
500 ml. While hot, fill into bottles and seal.
The remaining apple mass doesn’t have to end up on the
compost heap: boil shortly with a shot of apple juice and
fill the applesauce into jars.
A small tip in conclusion: Add a shot of syrup to hot apple
juice – this is a tasty apple punch for Christmas-time.
It also tastes good when mixed with sparkling wine or
water.
What you need: Ingredients:
2.5 kg apples
2 cinnamon sticks
150 g sugar
300 ml water
2 tablespoons maple syrup
300 ml apple juice

Cookies are the most popular Christmas sweets that nobody should do without. The first small treats in the
form of gingerbread and small biscuits already came about in the time before Christ – primarily during festive
seasons. Today, it’s hard to imagine a kitchen without this sweet snack, no matter what time of year it is.
Here are the most popular recipes from Grandma’s collection
Cinnamon s tars :3 egg whites
250 g powdered sugar
300 g ground almonds
2 teaspoons cinnamon
100 g ground almonds
How you do it : For the cinnamon stars, beat the egg white until stiff and
stir in the powdered sugar bit by bit. Put approx. 80 g of
the egg white mixture aside for the sugar icing. Mix 300 g
ground almonds into the rest of the egg white mixture and
spice with cinnamon. The amount of almonds depends on
the size of the eggs. The dough should be firm enough
to be rolled out. Sprinkle the rest of the ground almonds
on the worktop. Roll the dough until approx. 1 cm thick.
Cut out the cinnamon stars and place them on a baking
tray covered with baking parchment. Brush the cinnamon
stars with the remaining egg white mixture. Let them dry
overnight, then bake them in a preheated oven at 160°C
on the middle rack for approx. 8 minutes.

Vanilla crescents :250 g flour
1 pinch baking powder
100 g sugar
1 sachet vanilla sugar
1 egg (medium size)
125 g soft butter
100 g ground almonds
How you do it : Mix flour with baking powder in a mixing bowl. Add all
other ingredients and first mix at the lowest speed (with
a hook), then work into a dough at highest speed. Knead
the dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s smooth.
Form pencil-thick rolls of dough, cut into 4-5 cm long
pieces, roll the ends slightly thinner and form into a
crescent. Place on baking tray.
Baking time: approx. 10 min (upper/lower heat, approx.
180°C)
Sprinkling
Pull the baking parchment with the crescents off the tray
and put the crescents side by side. Sieve the powdered
sugar, mix it with vanilla sugar and sprinkle onto the
crescents immediately after baking. Allow the crescents
to cool and then sprinkle again.
The biscuits will keep for several weeks when stored
in an attractive ARTEBENE tin.

Getting to lead your own team of dogs is an exciting
experience in the snowy winter world of the north. And
the dogs are totally in their element! A ride through the
never-ending white means pure pleasure and is a unique
experience that you will talk about for a long time. Along
with the equipment, food and luggage are distributed
amongst the sleds first. Then the dogs are attached and
off they go! At first they’re nervous and pull on the reins.
But as soon as the musher starts with his pack leader, the
rest follow him quietly. Up to the treeless Fjäll the ride
continues through snowed-in forests. For several days
you fly across the carpet of snow on the Fjäll, expe-
riencing Sweden’s unspoiled nature up close.
After arriving at the camp, the dogs are
untied and taken care of. Then the
participants prepare dinner together.
But before the oven can offer some
cosy heat: Time to cut some wood.
Getting water from small creeks or
clear wells under the snow is also part
of the evening work each day.
On the last day of the tour, it’s back to the val-
ley, where the husky farm is. A last evening together
in camp brings the tour to a sociable close.
The length of the tour is flexible and spans from day
trips to tours lasting 10 days. Overnights on the tour
are spent in simple mountain huts, without electricity or
running water.
1. Metre-high snow covers the high plateau of the
Fulufjälls
2. Following the instructions of the musher, everyone
takes care of their own sled of up to 6 dogs.

Advent season The advent season used to be a fasting period.
Advent wreath THE accessory for the month of December! Made of pla-
stic or real wood, multi-functional decoration with a pine
tree flair. Usable as a headpiece, spare tire, home training
device or flammable table object.
Food and drink A total of 46,000 tons of goose meat are eaten during
the holidays. In comparison: The Christmas tree at the
Dortmund Christmas Market weighs about 30 tons.
GiftsIn order to hand out all gifts in time, Santa Claus would have
to move at a speed of approximately 1,040 km per second.
For braking to drop gifts as well as for accelerating, he
would have to withstand 20.6 million Newtons – not even
Santa Claus could survive this. In comparison: a conventio-
nal reindeer reaches a maximum speed of 24 per hour.
2 4 M A G A Z I N E B Y A R T E B E N E
Santa’s reindeersSanta Claus originally had eight reindeers in front of
his sleigh. Their names: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen,
Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen. Red-nosed Rudolph didn’t
turn up until later – the first time was in a colouring book.
Chris tmas tree The average Nordmann fir on Christmas has 178,333
needles and is 1.64 m tall. People used to hang Christmas
trees from their ceilings. The advantage: They didn’t take
up much space and couldn’t accidentally be tipped over.
Maybe that could be a new decoration idea for this year...
