Terms of Sale Agreement

1. All buyers are required to settle their account with Gateway Auction Services Ltd. in full at the end of the auction. All

sales are in Canadian Funds. Payments will be accepted by cash, valid cheque, bank draft, Interac, Visa, Mastercard or

Discover Cards. Driver’s license or some sort of positive identification will be required for cheques. N.S.F. or stopping

payments will not be tolerated.

2. The sales management, auctioneers and employees act as agents for the seller, but assume no liability for either buyer

or seller. Any representations made by the sales management are on behalf of the seller.

3. Every effort has been made to ensure correctness of the catalogue, however, owners, auctioneers and agents will as-

sume no responsibility for errors or omissions and assume no liability as to any statements, either written or verbal,

regarding any elk sold other than the information given was given “in good faith”. Any known correction will be made

at sale time and will take precedence over the catalogue. Buyers are encouraged to contact consignors directly for full

details of animals.

4. Each lot of animal(s) will be sold by auction to the highest bidder. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject

any bid and in all cases of dispute the auctioneer’s decision shall be final.

5. All sales are final. Under the ‘Public Auctions Act’ the buyer enters into a binding contract when the Auctioneer says

‘SOLD’. The buyer is financially responsible for payment according to the ‘Terms of Sale’. Ownership of the animal(s)

passes from seller to buyer when the financial matters are completed at the end of the sale. Liability becomes the re-

sponsibility of the buyer at this time.

6. All buyers must register for the sale and agree to the terms of sale. Upon which time they will receive a bid card.

7. If and/or when it is announced either in the sales catalogue or at the time of auction that an animal(s) has been preg-

nancy tested or had specific health test it is understood that the seller has provided a written statement to that effect

signed by a licensed veterinarian, CFIA District Veterinarian or Alberta Agriculture & Rural Development personnel.

There will be no further guarantee in regard to these tests.

8. All sellers have registered their animal(s) for the sale and have provided all necessary information required on the Ani-

mal Registration Form and the CFIA TB Confirmation Form.

9. After the Catalogue is printed, any additional lots will be added to the sale and will be included in the online catalogue

that will be available from www.gwacountry.com

10. All elk are sold “AS IS”. There is no guarantee of any kind as to the soundness, condition or quality of any elk sold in

this sale, except in the case where the owner makes a specific guarantee. In such a case the guarantee is strictly by the

owner and not by the sales management.

11. All arrangements for the physical transfer of the animal(s), their care, responsibility of and liability for them is to be

arranged privately between the buyer and the seller. We recommend the buyer purchase insurance.

12. Any person attending this auction does so at their own risk, and no liability, duty, obligation and/or responsibility shall

be imposed upon the consignors or any of their agents for any accident, injury, mishap, theft, damage and/or harm

regardless of the source of the imposition.

13. All buyers agree to be bound by the above terms of sale agreement.

Buyer has the option to pick their bull on sale day and take it home or if lot meets “Group Reserve” they can take all three for 3 times the

money. What is a “Group Reserve”? Choice of ONE bull sells regardless of Group Reserve” If “Group Reserve” is met buyer will have

the option to sweep the lot and take away our top bull calves. “Group Reserve” will be announced during the sale once it has been

AGPE 25E. This will be the first Bucci bull calf offered from

Glen Park. He is a ½ brother to Garmadon who scored 405

6/8 @ 3 and was the NAEBA International Champion in the

side Garmadon as they were only 11” apart, we collected Garma-

don as he was typical and we felt that there is some following for

typical and he would be marketable. Gangnam was not collected

therefore did not get into the limelight. This past fall Gangnam

was 424” @ 3. He obviously went in with cows once again and we

are very please to have another batch of offspring from him. The

icing on this male calf is that he is out of a proven mother and

although we are waiting to see the results for Caliber I will have to

say that at this stage Caliber looks to be a cut above any bull we

have ever raised. If X-Ray produced a 424” three year old this

Caliber son will be on track to break new records. Caliber is Dou-

ble Bred “Raisin Bread” keep in mind his dam was a REED cow

Imperius has been confirmed by DNA to be a LEVI son. Only one animal is for sale in this lot- either from Canada or USA. Due to USA/Canada board crossing regulations (and the buyer chooses to bring the heifer home) if the buyer of this lot is from .....

1) USA- they can choose to purchase the USA heifer calf LWA 16 E or Canada heifer calf AJRG 19E. Then the USA buyer can negotiate with the USA and Canada sellers for all the other heifers. The USA buyer could end up with 6 heifer calves.

2) Canada - they can only buy the heifer AJRG 19E and then negotiate for the other 2 from the Canadian seller. A total of 3 heifers can be bought.

Members of the Yellowhead Chapter and the Seutter family, who had the highest bid at the 2016 AEC Con-vention are seen here at the Royal Pembina Campground making some memorable moments. The weather was perfect, we enjoyed mud bogging with the quads, getting stuck a few times, to the ad-venturous sights of the Pembina Hills trails and river, plus so much more.

Everyone enjoyed a Saturday night feast and tried their hand at making mountain pies for breakfast on Sunday.
