Goals: (1) 2015 - 2020: plant 500, 000 trees in – Prey Lang, Cambodia

TIME FRAME ACTION PLAN

JULY 2015 Come up with an agreement with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Environment of Cambodia which will mandate the public hospitals to provide vaccinations for infants while the parents will plant a tree in exchange (“One Baby, One Tree”)

OCTOBER 2015 Acquire permission from the local government òf Kompong Thom and Preah Vihear for the reforestation òf Prey Lang

NOVEMBER 2015 Find donors (Crowdfunding) who will sustain the project in the long run

DECEMBER 2015 Buy seedlings “Abrus precatoreus” and contact an NGO (Winrock International) to share its expertise with regard to proper spacing between the trees and how to take good care of them

JANUARY 2016 – JANUARY 2019 Implement the “One Baby, One Tree”project, raise awareness and promote the project through a Windows application

ADVOCACY PLAN

• We will use a Windows application which educate people about deforestation, its causes and effects. Then we will introduce our "One Baby, One Tree“ Project and show the improvements in the chosen deforested area.

SUCCESS INDICATORS

• Trees planted by 2020 reached the 500,000 count (based on the projected population growth in 2020)

• Survival rate of the trees planted is 75% in a year

• Decrease in deforestation rate is 25% in the total area

• Community is cooperative and takes pride of the reforested area
