In order to cope with the Anderson Road Quarry Site Development project, the contractor will hire a traffic consultant in advance so as to provide suggestions on temporary traffic arrangements for various road works. The proposals have to be discussed in the Traffic Management Liaison Group Meeting. Before the launch of the temporary traffic arrangements, trial runs and on-site assessments are conducted as required by the Police for proper implementation. Temporary traffic arrangements recently implemented for this project are as follows:

Since the beginning of 2018, noise monitoring stations have been set up in On Tai Estate and Ma Yau Tong Village respectively. The relevant data are published in the Environmental Monitoring and Audit Report regularly and reported to the Environmental Protection Department. Moreover, during the construction of the project, noise measurements are arranged at nearby schools or buildings, including the Chinese Christian Church Mong Man Wai College and Hiu Wah Building, to ensure that the impact of the project on nearby residents is minimized. At the same time, the engineering team actively explained to resident representatives about the construction locations, works progress of the project, and the use of various environmental mitigation measures in response to residents' concerns on environmental issues.
