Motivation - Abstract

• The main objective of this project will be energy conservation, waste recycling and reduction, waste collection and transport route optimization, and water conservation and optimization.

• This project aims to combine both work and research output to obtain a set of indices, measurements, and industry-appropriate optimization models in many countries.

• Partners from Industry, together with Universities, are collaborating on this project in order to obtain the best rates of usability, improve know-how, refine models and test results. A working agenda and frequent meetings among participant are crucial for the duration of the project.

Background and OMUS Today - 2011: Southwest Jiaotong University and Complutense University sign

agreement document. A previous similar agreement already signed between UCM in Madrid and USON in Hermosillo.

- 2008-2014: G-TeC research group serves on scientific committees as well as organizing committees of several international conferences in the PRC:

- FLINS 2008, Xiamen; - FLINS 2010, Chengdu; - ISKE 2011, Shanghai; - ISKE 2012, Beijing; - ISKE 2013, Shen Zhen; - PIC 2014, Shanghai

- Research groups discussed new issues regarding utility services and agreed upon improvements in modeling. Meetings in Hermosillo, October, 2013; Shanghai, May 2014, Madrid, July 2014.

- All partners are now working together on Phase 1 and Phase 2, mainly on data collection and integration from public Open Data Bases and their storage and organized distribution in suitable servers on the cloud to be ready to scale in size and computing.

More backgroundAgreement of cooperation between G-TeC research group and Madrid City Environmental Department. Development of apps for recycling and other social activities in health and wellness.

Other agreements with Spanish Industry for improvement of the research and common aims of analysis.

We are OPENWe are open to collaborate with other researching groups or students from universities/business/research centers which want to share our challenges with great motivation on these amazing areas.Open also to drive together a way to European Projects within Horizon 2020 or other private or public funding.
