SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION

Whether you run a brick-and-mortar retail store or an online-based business yoursquoll more than likely need to accept a variety of

payment methodsmdashincluding credit cards and digital payments After all accepting these payment types has become a

necessity of doing businessmdashand the merchant services industry has grown substantially to accommodate this need This being

said if yoursquore looking to accept any paymentsmdashother than cash yoursquoll need to explore different payment processing companies

to find the one that will work best for you

W h a t i s a P a y m e n t P r o c e s s i n g C o m p a n y It may surprise some business owners to learn that payment processing companies can be completely separate from a point of

sale systemmdasheven though many companies do bundle these services This being said a payment processing company is an

entity that allows you to accept credit cards and other similar payments from your customers and process those payments A

payment processing company then handles all of the behind-the-scenes processes that take place after your customer provides

their card information (whether in-person or online) for a transaction So whether your customer swipes their credit card or

manually inputs their card information the ensuing processesmdashlike encrypting their information routing the information to their

own bank and back to your businessrsquos bankmdashare what payment processing generally entailsmdashand therefore is what is

managed by payment processing companies Keep in mind though payment processing can look very different in practice

depending on how yoursquore accepting payments what kind of payments yoursquore accepting and of course which payment processor

yoursquore using Therefore as you look for the best payment processor for your business yoursquoll want to consider not only costmdashbut

also how your business operates and how yoursquoll be taking paymentsmdashin order to determine which of the top payment processing

companies will be able to meet your needs Payment processing companies are virtually everywhere How exactly do you

decide what service to use Which ones are the most secure reliable and better-performing In order to help you select the

best processing company for your business you will want to research what each company offers with special emphasis on

performance security PCI compliance and other distinguishing features Do your homework including speaking with your

financial institution about their recommendations

N o a d m i s s i o n w i l l b e c h a r g e d t h i s y e a r This is what season 5 will look like at Possum Patch Farms We will be following IDPH guidelines to make sure all safety protocols are in place The indoor play arena and animal petting area along with the bounce pad will be closed off since it is difficult to manage the capacity and sanitizing necessary to keep everyone safe We will also NOT be having the pumpkin paintingface decorating tent this year

Hours will be Saturdays 12-5 amp Sundays 12-4 The last day of the season will be Sunday November 1st

The general store along with the kitchen (with a limited menu) will be open We plan on having all doors open to ensure proper ventilation and ask that you please wear a mask inside the store when 6rsquo of distance cannot be maintained We will still have corn maze tickets available for purchase and the back playground will be open to use at your own discretion We will have hand sanitizer stations out near the playground and we encourage you to bring your own as well We will also offer a double wagon hay ride with enough space for social distancing We ask that you still please park in the main parking lot and not up by the barn to ensure enough space for all cars

Wersquove tried to look at this from many angles and ask for patience as we navigate through this season We felt that it was in the best interest of the public to not open our high traffic areas in an effort to keep everyone safe

PUMPKINS Wersquove had such an excellent pumpkin crop this year we decided to open up a tent We will be open on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday from 12-4pm on Rt 130 in Olney in the gravel lot next to Ginger Alersquos We will have pumpkins small and large gourds and jamsjellies for sale

entity that allows you to accept credit cards and other similar payments from your customers and process those payments A

payment processing company then handles all of the behind-the-scenes processes that take place after your customer provides
