Difficulty ➠ The first portion of the route has hills and curves. For beginning riders, the western portion of the route is less challenging.

Road Conditions ➠ The majority of the roads are in excellent condition. Exercise caution when riding hilly areas due to upcoming stop signs. The western portion of the county has a small Amish community and the traffic flow for the most part of this route is light to moderate.

Overview ➠ Medina County, formed by an act of the legislature in 1812, has a mix of rolling to hilly terrain on the eastern portion the western portion is flat. You will ride past Buzzards Roost in Hinckley Township which boasts the highest elevation of 1325 feet above sea level. Every March 15, dating back to 1957, the buzzards are welcomed back to Hinckley Reservation by the Cleveland Metro parks official buzzard spot. The county has a few railroad tracks you will cross over as well as several 4 way stop signs. Make sure you stop at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery near Seville on C.R. 16 which is on 273 acres.

Road Conditions ➠ Most of the State Routes are in excellent condition. Most of the county roads are in very good condition. There may be some ruts in the road on Harrison Road near the end of the route.

Overview ➠ Wayne County will show off its variety of both wide open spaces as well as its tidy family farms. The first portion is very rural until you return to Columbus Road half way thru the ride. Downtown Wooster boasts several eating choices.

Overview ➠ Located in the heart of Ohios Amish Country, this route has over 220 curves and may not be suitable for a beginning rider. You will encounter many hills with a modest speed of 35 – 55 mph. You will not encounter heavy traffic, but several small communities and lots of scenic landscapes and beautiful farmlands. Horse and buggy traffic will be more common near C.R. 160, C.R. 114, C.R. 600 and C.R. 59. Other areas are less traveled by horse and buggy.

Road Conditions ➠ Excellent condition. Not heavily traveled roads. There is a small Amish community in Peoli with horse and buggy activity.

Overview ➠ Tuscarawas County is rich in history. Its early settlers consisted of Moravian missionaries who set out to Christianize the Indians. Your ride will take you through unique names of towns such as Newcomerstown (Indian Chief Newcomer), Gnadenhutten (Tents of Grace), Dennison (home of Dennison Railroad Depot Museum), and Schoenbrunn (Beautiful Spring), Discover spectacular curves, hilltop views, and glide along the beauty of the Tuscarawas (Open Mouth) River in Southern Tuscarawas County. You will discover local wineries, ice cream shops, cheese factories and small maw and paw stores along this scenic Appalachia Foothills Trail. The grave of Cy Young is located along the route on Post Boy Road.
