A Technocampus EMC², et aux cotés d’Airbus sur le projet CORAC, les équipes d’Aerolia œuvrent à la réalisation d’une pointe avant et d’une case de train tout composite. Fort de ses avancées dans la recherche, Aerolia explore aujourd’hui de nouvelles voies de travail, sur les panneaux composites 3D avec intégration de fonctions, les technologies CFRP « low cost » et le développement de structures soumises aux chocs dynamiques.

AEROLIA

French No. 1 in aerostructures with more than 500 nose fuselages and fuselage subassemblies produced and delivered each year. Aerolia has design and production skills to propose to its customers – the best in metallic and composite materials. At Technocampus EMC², and alongside Airbus in the CORAC project, the Aerolia teams are working on the production of an all-composite nose fuselage and landing gear compartment. To continue its research progress, Aero-lia is now exploring new ways of working on 3D composite panels with integration of functions, «low cost» CFRP technologies and the development of structures resistant to dynamic impacts.

• La stratégie technologique déployée par le Cetim est axée sur les composites thermoplastiques plus faciles à recycler et se prêtant davantage aux séries que les thermodurcissables. Ces matériaux présentent également des similitudes de travail avec les métaux.

• Outre les laboratoires d’essais mécaniques et physicochimiques, trois unités pilotes sont mises à disposition des industriels pour des études de faisabilité, de pré-industrialisation ou de réalisa-tion de prototypes : une presse de formage de 450 tonnes, une ligne de pultrusion et une machine d’enroulement filamentaire. Tous ses équipements sont capables de transformer des compo-sites thermoplastiques (du Polypropylène jusqu’au Peek).

CETIM

• Cetim’s technology strategy is based on thermoplastic compo-sites which are easier to recycle. Compared to thermoset com-posites, these materials are also more adapted for middle/high range productions and have working properties similar to those of metals.

• In addition to mechanical and physico-chemical testing laborato-ries, three pilot units are at the disposal of companies wishing to undertake feasibility studies and/or development of prototypes: a 450 ton forming press, a pultrusion line and a filament winding machine. All these equipments can process thermoplastic com-posites (from polypropylene to Peek).
