RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Religious Education Classes will resume Saturday,
November 18th
at 9 A.M. in the school.
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR CONFIRMATION STUDENTS
As part of their preparation to receive the Sacrament of
Confirmation, all of the students in the ninth and tenth grades
will be attending a special retreat next Saturday, November 11th
.
Going on retreat is a big step for our Confirmation candidates. It
allows them to experience a time and place set apart from
everyday life to be intentionally with God and each other. Please
pray for our candidates that their retreat will be a time marked
by a personal encounter with Jesus and his Holy Spirit.
THANK YOU
Last weekend, St. Stanislaus Confirmation preparation classes
held a Sock Drive to benefit the homeless of the greater New
Haven area. Through your generosity just over 2000 items
[pairs of socks, hats, pairs of gloves, etc.] were collected. Thank
you for participating in their efforts to assist the poor.

XXXI NIEDZIELA ZWYKŁA 5 LISTOPAD 2017
OSTRE SŁOWA PRAWDY
Czy Jezus był antyklerykałem? Czy Jego słowa: Czyńcie więc i
zachowujcie wszystko, czego was uczą. Nie naśladujcie jednak
ich czynów, to manifest antyklerykalny wszechczasów? Jako
kapłan i mnich mam głęboką świadomość opartą na własnych
doświadczeniach oraz wielu osobistych rachunkach sumienia, że
wobec mojej osobistej grzeszności i niedoskonałości, zaufanie
człowieka, również duchownego, może wynikać tylko i
wyłącznie z mądrej zasady wprowadzonej przez Jezusa. To
prawda, że kapłani są grzesznikami. Ich wypowiedzi często
bulwersują. Myślę przede wszystkim o sobie. Dlatego kocham te
prawa, które wprowadza Jezus, bo są niezwykle prawdziwe i
ludzkie, oryginalne i jednocześnie uniwersalne. Ale faryzeizm
zagraża nie tylko kapłanom, wszyscy jesteśmy tłumem
faryzeuszów. A Jezus chce, byśmy byli prawdziwymi uczniami,
którzy słuchają słowa Bożego i rozważają je w swym sercu.
Tylko Jezus jest prawdziwym Nauczycielem. Słuchajmy i
bądźmy posłuszni Jego słowom!
FAMILY MASS
The families of the religious education program will be attending
a Family Mass celebration on November 19, 2017 at 10:15 AM.
Mass will be followed by a reception and activity in the school
auditorium. This is a great opportunity to gather as a faith
community to celebrate the Eucharist, share a meal and learn
more about the liturgical season of Advent. All parish families
are welcome.
HOLY NAME SOCIETY VETERANS BREAKFAST

Veterans monument after the 9 A.M. Mass. We shall process out
to the monument and lay a wreath at the monument. All are
welcome to both events. Please come.
FOOD CARDS
Food cards will be distributed from the Parish Office to our
needy parishioners November 21st and 22
nd
from 9 A.M. till 4 P.M.

Novena Masses
for our Beloved Deceased & Wypominki
It is our tradition that Wypominki or
“Naming” is kept. People write the names of
their beloved deceased on the envelopes or
cards provided or submit them to the parish
office, usually enclosing alms for the poor and
a stipend offering.
At the Novena Masses (9 Masses) offered
for our deceased loved ones, which began
November 2nd
, the priest reads the names from
the pulpit, and the Mass and prayers are offered
for the repose of their souls.

PARISH MEMBERSHIP:
Registering at St. Stanislaus BM Church is the
foremost expression of your commitment to being part of
our parish community. Being a registered parishioner also
makes the process much simpler when it’s time to receive
sacraments, register for religious education, to be entitled to
the parish or the Hartford Archdiocesan tuition offered at a
Catholic school for parish-registered Catholics, to sponsor
a sacrament recipient, or even to plan church ministries.
Church law no longer limits parish registration within
particular boundaries. Make your commitment to St.
Stanislaus BM Church, REGISTER!
PRZYNALEŻNOŚĆ DO PARAFII:
Zapisując się do parafii dajesz wyraz poczucia
przynależności do lokalnej społeczności kościoła, św.
Stanisława BM, oraz ułatwiasz sobie i duszpasterzom
udzielenia posługi sakramentalnej jak np: chrztu, ślubu,
zapisu na katechezę, otrzymanie pomocy finansowej w
szkole katolickiej z parafii i z diecezji Hartford, czy
otrzymanie prawnego zaświadczenia w różnych celach
urzędowych.
