Position Summary The Office Administrator & Volunteer Coordinator will perform operational tasks necessary to ensure that the Dow Gardens office processes and volunteer program run smoothly. As Office Administrator they will answer phones, sort mail, assist with meetings, order supplies, and maintain the general functionality of the office. They will work closely with the team to continue the well-established volunteer program of nearly 300 members. and attend monthly meetings with a local volunteer organization. Minimum Qualifications • Degree in communications, administration, or related field; experience also considered. • Strong interest in customer service. • Interest in data and administrative tasks . • Adheres to safety protocols introduced at the beginning of the program. • Understands appropriate presentation and interaction with the public. • Self-motivated and enjoy working independently, as well as with a team. • Possess a valid driver’s license.
