You can use the Outlook for Android App or use the Native Android Email Client
Use the Outlook for Android app
View these steps in a video online.
By using the Outlook for Android you can access your email, calendar, contacts, and OneDrive files
from within the app rather than having to check separate apps.
NOTE You cannot access tasks from the Outlook for Android app.
1. Download the Outlook for Android app from the Google Play store if you haven’t installed it yet.
If you already have it installed, open it and then depending on your device, tap the navigation
control at the bottom of your Android, or tap More > Settings > Add Account.
2. Tap Office 365 if you have a work or school account in Office 365 for business.
3. Enter your full email address, for example [email protected], type your password, and then
tap Sign in.
NOTE If you previously selected Exchange to set up your account you may receive a message about
security upgrades and you need to re-sign in. Follow the prompts and sign in with your full email
address and password.
Outlook for Android then starts syncing the account.
4. To view your calendar, files, or contacts from the app, tap More .
Delete an account
1. Depending on your device, tap the navigation control at the bottom of your device, or
tap More > Settings.
2. Tap the account you want to delete.
3. Select Remove Account from Device and Remote.
Use the built-in Android mail app
View these steps in a video online
1. Tap Settings > Accounts > Add account > Email.
2. Type your full email address, for example [email protected], type your password, and then
tap Next.
3. Select the Exchange option.
4. Depending how the Office 365 administrator in your organization set up your account, you might
receive a message about additional security features. Select OK to continue.
5. Once the device verifies the server settings, the Account Options page opens. Accept the defaults or
select the options for how you want to receive and send your mail, and then tap Next. (You may
need to scroll down to see Next.)
6. On the Set up email page you can change the name of your account. When you’re finished
tap Done.
If you synced your calendar and contacts in step 5 you can go to those apps on your phone to view
any items that might be there. If you synced tasks as well, you should see them in the calendar app
on your device. It might take a few minutes for everything to sync.
If your device can’t connect make sure you typed your email address and password correctly and try
again. If you still can’t connect try setting it up manually following the steps on the next page.
Manual set up
1. Tap Settings > Accounts > Add account > Email.
2. Type your full email address, for example [email protected], type your password, and then
tap Next.
3. Select Manual.
4. Review the settings on the Exchange server settings page and update if necessary.
Email Make sure your full email address is in this box, for example,
Domain\Username Type your full email address in this box, for example,
[email protected]. If Domain and Username are separate text boxes in your
version of Android, leave the Domain box empty, and type your full email address in
the Username box.
Password Use the password that you use to access your account.
Exchange Server The server name for Office 365 for business
is outlook.office365.com.
Make sure the Use secure connections (SSL) box is checked.
5. Tap Done.
6. Depending how the Office 365 administrator in your organization set up your account, you might
receive a message about additional security features. Select OK or Activate to continue.
7. Accept the defaults or make changes for how you want your account to sync on your device. When
you’re finished, swipe to the bottom and tap Next.
8. On the Set up email page you can change the name of your account. When you’re finished
tap Done.
If you synced your calendar and contacts in step 7 you can go to those apps on your phone to view
any items that might be there. If you synced tasks as well, you should see them in the calendar app
on your device. It might take a few minutes for everything to sync.
Office 365 for APPLE (iOS) device – iPhone or iPad
You can use the Outlook for iOS App or use the Native iOS Email Client
Use Outlook for iOS
Outlook for iOS requires iOS 8.0 or higher. If the app is incompatible with your device, try adding
your mail account using the built-in mail app that comes with your device.
View these steps in a video online.
1. Download the Outlook for iOS app from the Apple Store if you haven’t installed it yet.
If you already have it installed, open it, then tap Settings > Add Account.
2. Tap Office 365 if you have an account in Office 365 for business.
3. Type your full email address, for example [email protected], type your password, and then
tap Sign in.
TIP If you get a time-out message, your password or other information might be incorrect. Retype
the information, and then try again.
NOTE If you previously selected Exchange to set up your account you may receive a message about
security upgrades and you’ll need to re-sign in. Follow the prompts and sign in with your full email
address and password.
4. Select Yes to let the app access your info. Outlook for iOS begins syncing.
5. Tap one of the icons to view your calendar, files, or contacts in the app.
Delete an account
1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap the account you want to delete.
3. Select Remove Account, and then select From Device or From Device & Remote Data.
Use the built-in iOS mail app

1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars >Accounts > Add account > Email.
2. In the Add Account page, tap Exchange.
3. Enter your full email address, for example [email protected], and your password, and then
tap Next.
4. By default, Mail, Contacts, and Calendar information are synchronized. Tap Save.
5. If you’re prompted to create a passcode, tap Continue and type a numeric passcode. If you’re
prompted and don’t set up a passcode, you can’t view this account on your device. You can also set
up a passcode later in your settings.
Office 365 for WINDOWS 10 or WINDOWS PHONE device
You can use Windows 10 Devices or use the Legacy Windows Phone Devices
Windows 10 Phone
View these steps in a video online.
1. Open Mail or Calendar and on the Welcome page choose Get started.
2. On the Accounts page, choose Add account.
3. Choose Exchange, and then enter the email address and password for that account.
4. Choose Sign in > Done. Your data will start syncing as soon as your account is set up.

For Windows Phones prior to Windows 10
1. In the App list, tap Settings, and then tap Email + accounts.
2. Do one of the following:
If you have Windows Phone 8 or 8.1, tap Add an account > Exchange.
If you have Windows Phone 7 or 7.5, tap Add an account > Outlook.
3. Enter your full email address, for example [email protected], and your password, and then
tap Sign in. If the phone finds your account settings, your email, calendar, and contacts will be
synched to your phone.
Office 365 for BLACKBERRY Device
Set up Exchange ActiveSync email on a BlackBerry 10 device
If you're using BlackBerry 10, set up your account using Exchange ActiveSync. Exchange ActiveSync
lets you synchronize email, calendar, contacts, tasks, and memos with your account. In most cases,
your device will set up your account in just a few simple steps.
1. On the BlackBerry 10 home screen, select Settings.
2. On the System Settings page, select Accounts. If you haven't yet created any accounts, select Add
Account.
3. On the Add Account page, select Email, Calendar, and Contacts.
4. Enter your full email address, for example [email protected], and select Next.
5. Type your password and select Next. The Looking up connection information message displays.
Your device tries to set up your email account automatically.
If it finds your connection information, specify the information you want to synchronize with your
account, and select Done. You will see your account listed on the Accounts list. Go to the BlackBerry
Hub to access your email account.
If it can't set find your connection information, you'll see a message recommending that you use
advanced setup steps. If this is the case, see the next procedure.
Use the following steps to use advanced settings to set up your Exchange ActiveSync connection to
your account.
1. On the BlackBerry 10 home screen, select Settings.
2. On the System Settings page, select Accounts. If you haven't yet created any accounts, select Add
Account.
3. To get to advanced setup, on the Add Account page, select Email, Calendar, and Contacts. Then,
select the menu icon beneath the Email Address box to access advanced setup options.
4. On the Advanced Setup page, select Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
5. Enter the settings for your account as follows. If you had just tried the previous procedure, some of
these settings may already be entered for you.
In Description, give your account a name.
If you are using Office 365, leave the Domain field blank. If you are not using Office
365 and your admin gave you a domain setting, enter that in the Domain box.
In Email Address, Enter your full email address, for example [email protected]
In Username, type your full email address.
In Password, type your password.
In Server address, if you are using Office 365, type outlook.office365.com.
Select Next. The Checking for supported services and policy
information message displays.
6. On the next page, specify the information you want to sync, and then select Done. The Saving and
verifying your settings message displays.
If your account was set up, you will see your account listed on the Accounts list. Go to the BlackBerry
Hub to access your email account.
