The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is a UK-wide charity that works with hundreds of volunteers from across the UK, offering opportunities in areas such as fundraising, campaigning befriending and media. We simply wouldn’t be able to carry out our work without their continued support. We have developed, alongside Athenia Learning and the nationally recognised awarding organisation NCFE, a bespoke level 3 Award in Volunteer Management. This consists of two days of learning, followed by completion of a workbook, in order for people to gain the award. The course covers the core aspects of volunteer involvement, including: Planning Recruitment Monitoring and evaluation On-going support Learning and development We offer this learning to other charitable organisations to further develop their volunteering programmes. Highly competitive rates are available, and training is delivered by a qualified training professional with over 10 years’ experience of working with volunteers. Our dedicated Volunteering team can also work with you to create bespoke learning options for your organisation around volunteering.
