    1. Login ERIN

    Your username is your 6 digit employee number. If you can’t remember your password, try using the forgotten password option, or contact us for advice.

  • 3. Learning Activities

    Scroll down the screen to Learning Activities.

    If this area looks blank don’t worry, it just means you haven’t booked or attended any courses yet.

    4. View the filters

    Click on the tab entitled “Current”.

    Here you can use the filter to see courses you are booked on as well as those you are on waiting lists for. There are other options here too, so have a look at the filters.

    Select one of the filters to try it out.

  • 5. Viewing your learning activities

    The view below may change at times, but don’t worry – the system shows the information in a list form if there is more than 4 records to view.

    6. Search for a courses

    To look for a course, select Search courses.

  • 7. The Search Courses Box will appear on Screen

    If you’d like to look through all the courses that are currently available, select Search

    8. The system will display all available training courses

    Use the scroll bar on the left side of the search courses box to look through all available courses.

    If you find a course you wish to book, jump to point 10 on the handout.

  • 9. Search for a particular course

    If you wish to look for a particular course, type a word that will appear in the title. I will look for courses relating to Excel. Select Search. The system displays the matches in the area below.

    10. Make a Booking

    To make a booking, select the course that you wish to attend.

  • 11. Select the Date that you wish to attend

    Go to the course details screen which shows all available dates for the course you selected.

    Select the date that you wished to attend by clicking on the box.

    12. Complete Course Booking details

    Course booking details will now appear on screen and you should complete the Event booking details.

  • 13. Select Origin of Request

    Select the down arrow beside Origin of Request.

    This tells us who has requested that you attend. I will select employee request. You should select as appropriate.

    14. Select Reason

    Select the down arrow next to Reason.

    This tells us the reason that you need to attend this training. I will select Personal Development. Again, you should select as appropriate.

  • 15. Learning Objectives

    You may wish to include Learning Objectives. That is what you hope to gain from attending the course. This helps us to ensure the training content meets your needs. Once completed select Save.

    16. Booking Confirmed

    You will see that the Learning Activity has been updated and now includes the new booking.

  • 17. ERIN Confirmation

    ERIN will now generate confirmation emails to yourself and your line manager confirming your booking.
