September has had its peaks of encouragement as well as discouragements yet through it all God has reminded me of His faithfulness. For the past four weeks I have been working part-time in my church’s daycare. I work with a group of exciting and fun-filled 4 year olds. I love them so much! We are learning how to pronounce, write and use the letter “N”!...(not really sure why we start with “N” but the kids enjoy it.) Along with working, I have been studying online with Liberty University. One of the courses I am currently enrolled in has to do with Evangelism. Through this course and its biblical foundational principles, I have been reminded and encouraged to share Christ.

Greetings everyone! I can not believe a month has passed since I sent out my first letter. TIME FLIES! I am so excited to share with you all of the first steps of this journey! This month has been composed of Raising Support, schooling, working and a lot of coffee. I began Raising Support September 4th and I can and will say that God has blessed and taught me so much through it. So far, God has blessed me with 5 monthly supporters, and about 6 one time gifts. I still have not reached my total of $852 a month for the entire time that I am there but I know my God will provide all my needs.

Encouraging Story!

I went out for a lunch with a couple who committed to support me for the next two years. They shared a story with me that I wanted to share with you all; of course no names will be given for privacy purposes. As we began sharing about the blessings and realities of ministry they shared of a story about a woman who loved the Lord greatly. This woman labored, and raised an orphaned kid who was undisciplined and at times would get physically abusive towards her. YET she LOVED, prayed and shared Christ with him. There were days she had bruises and cried but she persevered because she knew the power of God, His faithfulness. The boy came to know and believe the truth, hope and love that is in Christ. He is currently a Pastor and if I remember correctly, he wrote a letter to his mom and said “thank you for all the beatings you endured from me”. The Pastor remembered the faithfulness of his mother who labored and preserved for Christ. Those people we minister to, those whom we love with the love of Christ remember us not because of us but because it is His love that they experience.

I want to share, minster, and love those children in whom God puts under my care with the love of Christ for His glory. I want to see many kids, and adults come to know Christ and

experience the fulfilling hope and love that comes ONLY from Him.

"if we are faithless, He remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself." 2 Timothy 2:13

'And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
