The moment when hostilities ceased on the Western Front has become universally associated with the remembrance of those who had died in the war. This first modern world conflict had brought about the mobilisation of over 70 million people and left between 9 and 13 million dead, perhaps as many as one-third of them with no known grave. While we pause for a moment to remember the sacrifice of these men and women, we are reminded of the wonderful truth of Psalm 116:15 which says; “precious in the eyes of the Lord are the death of his Holy ones”. This Biblical truth also reflects our heartfelt response to the passing of one of our dads, Mr Troy Wilhelmi. We grieve with family and friends as a School community that Troy has been called home to be with his Saviour Jesus. We will walk shoulder to shoulder with the family and support them as they adjust to life without their dad. Remembrance Day
