Welcome to the National Renderers Association’s 77th Annual Convention to be held at The Ritz-Carlton Naples from October 26-29, 2010. Please take a few minutes to read through this brochure for general information about the conference. We have also enclosed a registration form for your convenience, although we encourage everyone to use the secure online registration available on our website at www.nationalrenderers.org. As the date grows closer, be sure to check the website for real-time details and updates about the convention. For additional questions, please contact Marty Covert, NRA Convention Coordinator, at 703/533-8571 or [email protected].

Florida’s Paradise CoastNaples, Marco Island and the western portion of the Everglades make up Southwest Florida’s Collier County — also known as The Paradise Coast. Collier is the largest county in the state of Florida, yet more than 80 percent of its land is protected in the form of parks and nature preserves. Located at the Southwestern tip of Florida’s Gulf Coast, the area is easily accessible, yet offers visitors the distinct sense of being “away from it all.” In fact, once you arrive, you won’t want to leave! This tropical paradise serves as an attraction for artists and those who love art. With over 100 galleries in the Greater Naples area, the region has quickly become a cultural destination, with Naples recently named the #1 Small Art Town in America.

Shopping is also an art form in Naples. Enjoy Fifth Avenue South with its boutiques and art galleries, and then head a few blocks away and do it all again along Third Street South – home to Gallery Row, fashion boutiques and interior design stores.

The Ritz-Carlton NaplesWe are delighted to be hosting our 77th Annual Convention at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, which was named to the highly prestigious 2009 Condé Nast Traveler Gold List. This award-winning beach front resort features Gulf of Mexico views from every guest room, pristine white sand beaches and glorious sunsets. As a guest, you may choose from several unique restaurants, indulge in the luxurious world-class spa, or relax and enjoy the pools and beach activities.

Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), located in Fort Myers, is approximately 25 minutes away from the hotel, while both Miami International Airport (MIA) and Ft. Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) are approximately two hours away.

All attendees must make their own hotel reservations by calling The Ritz-Carlton Naples at 239/598-3300 or 888/856-4380 or by registering online at www.ritzcarlton.com and using the Group Code GKDGKDA. In order to receive the NRA discounted rate of $269 per night, you must make your room reservations by September 17, 2010. After that date, room rates and availability cannot be guaranteed.

Suggested Dress for the MeetingMost of the meetings require only casual attire. However, Wednesday and Thursday nights are business casual. For Friday evening’s Beach Party Reception and Dinner, come dressed for drinks, food, sand, music, ocean and fun! It is suggested you bring jackets or sweaters for the cool evenings. During October, the average high temperature in Naples is 87 degrees Fahrenheit (30.5 Celsius) and the average low is 66 degrees Fahrenheit (18.8 degrees Celsius).

A critical contributing factor to the success of NRA’s Convention over the years has been the tremendous generosity of the members who have sponsored our various events and speakers. Sponsors have afforded us the luxury of presenting high-level content in first-class venues, and our meeting is now generally considered a premier forum for the industry!

We’ve developed many exciting sponsorship opportunities which are listed on the following page. If your company is interested in sponsoring a convention event, please review this information and then complete and return the Registration Form or register online at www.nationalrenderers.org. We also welcome your ideas and suggestions for sponsorship and will make every effort to accommodate your request. Please contact Marty Covert at 703/533-8571 or [email protected] to discuss any special ideas you might have.

Sponsorship BenefitsWe want to project a high profile for your company at the convention as well as prior to the meeting. Therefore, all sponsors will receive the following:

d Prominently displayed signs at the events you sponsor to remind attendees of your support [see following page for Sponsorship Event Descriptions].

d Special name badge ribbons reflecting your company’s level of sponsorship for each person from your company attending the convention.

d A company listing in the convention program.

d You and your company will be recognized at the event you have sponsored.

In addition to the above, our Platinum, Diamond, Gold and Silver Sponsors will also receive:

d A listing in all promotional materials for the convention.

d Your company logo projected in lights at your sponsored event.

If you are a convention sponsor and a tabletop exhibitor:

d Your exhibitor fee will remain the same as last year’s.

d Your company will be assigned premium space at the Tabletop Exhibit.

As soon as you let us know of your level of sponsorship:

d We will post your company logo with a link to your company’s website on the NRA Convention website.

d Your company will be listed with all other information in any of the trade magazines promoting the meeting.

To choose the event you would like to sponsor at your level of contribution, be sure to review the following page. Also be sure to list your first, second and third choice on the Registration Form. If you cannot be a sponsor, we welcome contributors. Convention Contributors [$100-$499] will be highlighted in the convention program. We appreciate your support at whatever level you contribute!

Tabletop Exhibit & Reception7.00 pm - 9.00 pm • Thursday, October 28, 2010The annual Tabletop Exhibit and Reception has become an NRA Convention tradition. This much-anticipated event offers suppliers an invaluable opportunity to display their innovation and helps renderers stay abreast of industry developments in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.

Unlike large tradeshows that stretch out over days, this is a very focused event that places all emphasis on the exhibitors. It’s also the one opportunity a supplier has to capture the attention of top-level Renderers...all in one place.

If your company would like to exhibit, please read the Terms & Conditions below and then fill out the Tabletop Exhibitor information on the enclosed Registration Form or register online at www.nationalrenderers.org.

Terms & Conditions1. Each exhibitor must have at least one person fully registered for the convention.

2. Exhibit space will consist of a standard 6’ x 30” draped table, two chairs and a sign with the company name provided by NRA, unless special arrangements have been made. Please note that exhibits cannot exceed 8’ in width.

3. Electrical hook-up is available. Please indicate whether you will require electrical hook-up on the enclosed Registration Form. YOU MUST ORDER YOUR ELECTRICAL HOOK-UP AND A/V DIRECTLY FROM THE RITZ-CARLTON BY COMPLETING AND RETURNING THE RITZ-CARLTON’S EXHIBITOR ORDER FORM TO THE HOTEL. THIS FORM IS LOCATED AT THE END OF THIS BROCHURE. Exhibitors will be responsible for all electrical and AV costs.

4. Tabletop Exhibits will be open to NRA Convention attendees from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm, Thursday, October 28, 2010. Set up must be completed between 11.30 am and 6.00 pm. Tear down must take place immediately following the exhibit and no later than 11.00 pm. NRA and The Ritz-Carlton cannot be responsible for items left in the exhibit area after 11.00 pm, Thursday, October 28, 2010.

5. No one will be admitted into the Tabletop Exhibit without a convention badge. If your company has additional employees who will only be attending the Tabletop Exhibit and Reception (and are not registered for the convention), you will need to check the box “Exhibit Badge Only” listed under Tabletop Exhibitor Fees on the Registration Form and provide those employees’ name(s).

6. Only Registration Forms received with full payment at NRA headquarters by the October 12th print deadline will be listed in the program. You will not receive assignments prior to the meeting.

7. Ship all materials to:

Devin Passelle, CMP • Meetings and Special Events Manager • ATTENTION: MARTY COVERT The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples • 280 Vanderbilt Beach Road • Naples, Florida 34108 HOLD FOR: [NAME, NAME OF COMPANY AND PLEASE MARK “EXHIBITOR” ON THE BOX] Box #___of [TOTAL BOXES SHIPPED]

8. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of exhibit space should be directed to Marty Covert via email at [email protected] or by fax to 703/533-7415. Cancellations on or before September 17, 2010 are entitled to a full exhibit fee refund. Cancellations received after September 17, 2010 will be refunded at half (50 percent) of the fee. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that written refund requests are received on or before the dates indicated.

9. It is agreed that the National Renderers Association, Inc., its officers and its staff, and the management of The Ritz- Carlton, will not be liable to the exhibitor for any loss, damage or injury to his property contained in such exhibits, or injuries to his person, his agents, employees, or other persons, no matter how sustained from fire, theft, accident, or other causes. All claims for such loss, damage, or injury are being expressly waived by the exhibitor.
