Dear Fellow Rotarians and R'Anns

Greetings from RC Rewari Main!

We are happy to release the October edition of our club’s bulletin.

We did several important activities in the month of October. The month came with a bad news along. Club lost its founder member Rtn. Nareshwar Bhargava Ji this month. He left us for his heavenly abode. May his soul achieve best place in heaven.

We celebrated Deepawali with the residents of old age home. The time nicely spent with them, we distributed sweets and took blessing from them.

We completed WINS surveys of 11 schools of Rewari. Most of the schools are not having appropriate toilet facilities in their campus. Our district is working with UNICEF on WINS project and under that initiative we also gave budget request to them for construction of toilets in 11 Govt. schools. We hope to get the funds soon and club will start working towards construction of new toilets in these schools.

The month of Oct’17 was well spent primarily with an objective to make the Rewari city clean. In loving memory of Rtn. Nareshwar Bhargava Ji, We did several activities along with administration of Rewari and Dainik Jagran to spread awareness related to “Clean Rewari – Green Rewari” among residents of Rewari district.

I really appreciate the efforts made by Dainik Jagran for initiating the 1000 ton waste collection mission and for associating our club with them. Such initiative needs to carried on for longer run till we get our city listed in best 10 clean cities of India.

"I live as Rotarian and I will die as a Rotarian, Keep me as member of Rotary Club of Rewari Main till I am alive". These are the words of our founder members late Sh. Nareshwar Bhargava Ji.

A true Rotarian in every sense. The founder member & Pitamah of our club Rtn. Sh. Nareshwar Bhargava Ji is no more. He left on Oct 07’ 17 for his heavenly abode. This is a major and unbearable loss for our club.

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on.

Bhargava Sir, We will continue to work hard to take your club to new heights. You will continue to be alive in hearts of members of Rotary Club of Rewari Main.

Let's pray the almighty to release his pious soul for Moksha.
