Whispers by Irene Louis is our chosen new book this month.

Outline: A novel about past and present lives, how they intertwine and develop a pattern we follow as we learn about family, love, death and the struggles we face as we reach maturity, discovery and understanding of ourselves. Irene Louis is a hypno-psychotherapist of over twenty years’ experience and as a company director, helped build a thriving complementary therapy centre in the Highlands of Scotland. She developed her interests in metaphysics as a result of her dedicated work with past life therapy, the subject of her first book, ‘Releasement: This Life, Past Life, Other Life’. She continues to write, produce and facilitate workshops. She passionately believes that the work in her specialist field of personal development would benefit everyone in their quest for inner peace. Interview with the Author: An Interview with Irene Louis, author,

psychologist and hypnotherapist .

Tell us about your second book, ‘Whispers’ and your work. I love working with Past Life Therapy, because the stories are interesting and varied, peppered with enough surprises to keep me on my toes when I’m working. I wanted to show how effective PLT can be

and wrote about how three lives, two of them in past centuries, intertwined and were changed by fate.

Can we all learn about integrating our

past life patterns into a better now?

In my opinion that is what the therapy is

all about. Some patterns, once recognized

just drop away as irrelevant to the current

life. Others need to be worked at, perhaps

journaling, to understand more deeply the

implications of events and make the

necessary realisations for change. Most

importantly is the use of the experiences as

a given resource for the future.

How long have you lived in Spain? Over six years. Considering that Spain was never on my list of countries I wanted to live in, I’m amazed that I’ve loved every minute of it.

What brought you here?

The climate. My husband Colin and I lived

in a beautiful cottage in Perthshire, but

that last winter was so damp and cold. I

am sure the sunshine here has a lot to do

with openness, friendliness and sheer

enjoyment of life we find here.

What began your writing career?

Boredom. Colin was churning out books in

handfuls – at one time had three on the go

at once – and I was left to my own devices.

He challenged me to write one, and I did!

It was the kind of book everyone has in

themselves, an autobiography about my

journey into healing as a hypnotherapist

and how it changed my life. I wanted to

show how hypnotherapy can transform

lives.

What’s next? Another book, maybe?

I’ve already started a ghost story, but it

needs a lot of thinking out at the moment.

Irene lives a joyful life in Spain with her husband Colin,

the visionary, healer and author, near Marbella on the

Costa del Sol.

The process of imagining or visualizing an alternative sequence of events and its temporal influences can be a valuable tool to better understand our present problems. This edited collection of vivid experiences shows myriad vignettes of events that are sometimes dangerous and fearful, frequently compromising and often full of detail that eludes normal memory. IRENE LOUIS Published author and highly qualified psychotherapist as well as an expert past life practitioner, Irene was born in the northern reaches of Scotland and through a series of changes was drawn to her chosen life profession. DYNAMIC HEALING

“Dynamic means ‘self-motivated’ and also ‘full of life’.

Healing means ‘responsibility’ and trustworthiness and also dependability.

Both meanings are about accountability for our thoughts and actions.

Enlightenment means explanation, illumination and clarification. It also means ‘clearing up’

which is another way of looking at healing.

The true process of spiritual evolution is about steps with development, growth and realisation

and a value of fulfilment.

These steps are themselves involved with the fundamental nature of Healing. It is only with

Healing that enlightenment happens.

This is a process of the soul’s natural goodness, or as we have become to understand, spirituality

and includes the essence of joy and gratitude and many other qualities we learn with the Dynamic

Healing process. Therefore, Healing is an element of the Law of Necessity, which is the greatest

Law of Creation.

Colin teaches us to understand the Dynamic of this Law and that Healing is a necessity in guiding

us along the steps to enlightenment. The Dynamics are an essential expression of the nature of

healing and Colin teaches us how to use it.

By recognising our human nature we become more familiar with the relationship with our soul

and its companion spirit. This relationship is an essential step to understanding the natural

process of Healing and a greater awareness of our responsibility as Healers.
