FINALLY . . . PAVING NEWPORT AVENUE

Newport Avenue will be repaved in early February according to Conrad Wear from Councilmember Lorie Zapf’s office. It should take a few days or so to do the job. We will work with the contractor to make the whole thing go as quickly as possible. There will be limited parking on Newport as they go along the avenue. Hopefully they will do one side and then the other. We don’t have their schedule just yet.

The SD Chapter of CA Na ve Plant Society will hold a commu‐nity mee ng on Feb. 8 at 6:30pm at OB Rec Center 4726 Santa Monica Ave to request community input on our na ve plant garden at the north end of Sunset Cliffs Natural Park. The mee ng will be preceded by a social gathering from 6:30pm during which snacks and refreshments will be provided.

OBMA Annual Marketing Breakfast

What an incredible turnout for the OBMA’s Mar‐ke ng Breakfast. It was fun and informa ve for our members. Thanks to Shannon Brown, Brown Marke ng Strategies, for helping our staff or‐ganize and present this valuable informa on.
