PASHA DASHA GRAND PRIX

Program -11/01/2020 www.newcastleoutrigger.com.au 2

WELCOME:

For 10 years, Newcastle OCC has had the pleasure to host the iconic Pasha Dasha GP on our

wonderful water playground. You are now invited to join us for the 10th regatta.

Bring family, friends etc and make a weekend of it. See the world’s biggest coal shipping port

in action. Enjoy unequalled spectator access along the entire length of the course. If that’s

not enough, the foreshore is a great place to kick back and enjoy the parks & cycleways,

restored buildings, restaurants, etc., with kilometres of beaches just a stone’s throw away.

COURSES:

OC1/2 Hoe Hui series –1/2/3 laps of approximately the Changes Race course.

Junior, Novice, Ultra Short Course –one lap of approx. the Changes Race course.

Short Course – two laps of approx. Changes Race course

Changes Race - Yes it will be a changes race but DIFFERENT. As trialed last year there

will be 5 separate races that finish after each 5.4km lap, change your crew on

Horseshoe Beach and reassemble for restart asap……..27km, 5 laps of 5.4km , 4

Tighter, faster racing with more race-start practice. Aggregate points all races: not
