Many thanks to Miss Tout and Mrs Rutherford for their coordination of our Leadership team and thank you to Stage 3 teachers and staff for their organisation and help throughout the evening. Thank you also to our students for their efforts with leading their initiative.

School Prefect Speeches On Tuesday, the Year 5 students completing the Leadership program presented their speech for 2020 Student Leadership. The successful Leadership team for 2020 will be announced at the Superstar Assembly in Week 8 and the School Captains will be announced at the Presentation Day on Wednesday 11 December. The House Captains will be voted for in Term 1, 2020 and will have their badges presented at a special assembly next year.

Remember, as a Leader you don’t need to be a certain age or grow up in a certain area. You don’t need to be the most popular or the best looking. You don’t need to be the funniest or the smartest in the class. What you do need to be a great leader is to care for the people you are leading and care about the goals of your team. A leader is someone who leads with integrity, responsibility and generosity.

Update Information Through the course of the year, families have relocated, changed phone numbers and have different emergency contact details. If you have relocated and have different contact details can you please provide them to the school office so that our records are up to date. Also, if you are not returning after the holidays can you please notify the school. Breakfast Shack Our Breakfast Shack has been operating for three weeks and has been well supported by our students with an average of 65 students visiting each morning. This program was started by our SLSO’s who put on the breakfast daily. Thank you to families who have donated to our breakfast program. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. Thank you also to our SLSO’s who provide this great initiative for our kids.

Clothing Pool Our P&C volunteer run Clothing Pool is currently undergoing some changes. We will be delivering Flexi School Orders on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.

We will be opening on announced days for special events eg. new Kindergarten parents and to purchase uniforms early next year.

We apologise for any inconveniences caused. Thanks to all our volunteers, without which we could not operate. If you are available to help in our Clothing pool, please contact the Niagara Park Public School P&C Secretary at: [email protected]
