Pitfalls and Trends
• Targets should enable you to answer the question “did we meet our objectives?”
• Targets and even objectives should be quantifiable “wherever practicable”.
• Targets and objectives should be achievable.
• Simple versus Complex – it really doesn’t matter
• The more quantifiable the better
