Course Title WORLD LITERATURE
Credit Units 3
Course Description This course deals with the study of civilizations and literature which depicts trans disciplinary approach needed for the
incorporation of transcultural manuscripts.
Contact Hours/week 54 hours/18 weeks
Prerequisite None
Course Objectives Students who successfully complete this course will be able to demonstrate the following on appropriate
testing/evaluation instruments:
a. Identify about some of the world’s greatest masterpieces;
b. Gain understanding of the lives of the different writers of different nationalities;
c. Give intelligible insights and perception on the specific writing that has been read;
d. Demonstrate the values learned in the study of literature to real life situations.
