WbrkbookWorkbook activities provide additional written practice for each unit. The activities
appear in the order in which the material is presented in the book. An autobiographysection is included in each unit for students to demónstrate mastery of their writing skills.Youmay wish to include the students' Autobiography pages as part of a portfolio.
Audio ActivitiesThese activities are recorded by native speakers from various áreas of the Spanish-
speaking world to enable students to hear and comprehend different accents. The majorityof the activities are new to further enable students to master their listening and speakingskills; however, occasionally vocabulary, conversations, and activities from the StudentEdition are included and these are referenced by an earphone icón in the Student Edition.
Quizzes with Answer KeyThere are short quizzes included to assess students after every small section of
í j vocabulary and structure presented. They are intended to be short to check students'acquisition of the material being presented. Youmay wish to créate additional quizzesusing ExamView® Pro.
Tests with Answer KeyThere are four types of tests presented for each unit: Reading and Writing, Listening
Comprehension, Speaking, and Proficiency. All tests are set up to be administered at theend of the unit with the exception of the Reading and Writing Tests. These are dividedby Paso for greater flexibility. You may wish to give students a test after each Paso or afterseveral Pasos, or you may choose to wait and administer the Reading and Writing Tests asa Unit test.
