eCopy ShareScan® SDK

Rapidly develop custom document imaging solutions on the device independent eCopy ShareScan® platform

eCopy Connectors provide a simple and secure way for any office worker to use their copier to get paper based information into your software application. With the help of the eCopy ShareScan Software Development Kit (SDK), your solution will work in as little as 1-3 man months on virtually all copier platforms without the need to write and test separate applications for each copier brand and family of devices.

Build custom “scan to” Connectors to scan paper documents from any eCopy-enabled copier or scanner to your enterprise applications.

EaSy to USE

Using the eCopy ShareScan SDK requires no knowledge of

scanning, hardware, or image processing. The Connector Wizard

generates six different samples with all the necessary images,

data, and help files, as well as basic functionality. You only

need to provide:

• Administration/set-up with the application from the Connector

• Communication between the client user and the application

• Storage or distribution of the document with the application

The SDK includes a Microsoft Visual C++® Connector Wizard that creates the basic Connector framework and administration console interface (an ActiveX control).

The SDK also includes a Visual Forms Designer for developing the client interface for all eCopy supported platforms.
