BOOKS DISTRIBUTION

NSS P.O, Students and Volunteers of S.V. Engineering College for women visited the

adopted village (Annaswami Palle, Renigunta Mandal) and met the students of Z.P.

School in the adopted village and distributed books, pen & pencils for the poor students

and also encouraged them about the importance of education and how the education plays

key role in personal and society development. In addition the students also participated in

shramadhanam around the school premises.

FRUITS DISTRIBUTION

Students and Volunteers of S.V.Engineering College for Women visited S.V. Poor Home

on 15-08-2015 which is located in between Leela Mahal junction and Karakambadi road.

They met the old orphan people, spent for the entire day with them, distributed fruits for

them. People residing in S.V.Poor Home were very happy to the end of the day.

.VISIT TO ABHAYA KSHETRAM

NSS Unit of S.V. Engineering College for women has visited an orphan home

“ABHAYA KSHETRAM” on 02-10-2015. Students and volunteers of NSS unit had met

the different kind of orphan people and distributed fruits. They also spent the whole day

there serving food for them, teaching them small games and also displaying the

motivational videos and inspired them to face the challenges with full of courage.

NSS EYE CAMP

NSS Unit of S.V. Engineering College for women has conducted a “NSS EYE CAMP”

from 02-11-2015 to 04-11-2015 in college campus. Students & volunteers of NSS unit

had participated actively. The camp was really useful as it helped students in diagnosis of

their eye and the doctor has given the prescriptions.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

NSS Unit of S.V. Engineering College for women has organized “Blood Donation

Camp” in collaboration with HDFC and SVIMS, Tirupati on 11-12-2015. The Students

& Staff Members participated in Blood Donation Camp. After the HB test doctors

declared that most of the students are qualified to donate blood. Fruit juice and apples

was provided to all the student donors.

HEALTH CHECK UP CAMP

NSS Unit of S.V. Engineering College for women in collaboration with Jagruthi

Diagnostics Services Private Limited arranged Health Check Up Camp for staff

members. This Diagnostics Service Centre carried out around 32 checkups for Nominal

fee.

PULSE POLIO CAMP

NSS Unit of S.V.Engineering College for Women conducted Pulse Polio Immunization

Day in the adopted village. Staff, Students and Volunteers early in the morning met the

sarpanch and took permission for organizing this event. Before Day NSS P.O met the

local authorities who is incharge for this program and spoke to them for assisting us for

conduct of the same.

On that Day students, volunteers visited the residents of that village and enlightened them

regarding the need for pulse polio drops and motivated many members of that village to

actively bring their children for the pulse polio camp.
