    This Consultants Site Visit Report serves to confirm our recent visit to site. The details of that visit

    appear below for your information.

    Site report at various stages of the building works at the request of the Client/Architect/Project

    Manager.

    CM 3 (IPENZ).

    2.6 Building Consent Authority Monitoring:

    This project is subject to plumbing inspections by the BCA to ensure NZBC Compliance.

    2.7 The Work Elements Reviewed Were:

    Hot and Cold Water Pipes

    Hot Water Plant

    Sanitary Drains, Stacks and Branch Pipes

    Stormwater Drains, Stacks and Downpipes

    Gas Reticulation

    3.0 Findings from Site Visit

    Main Building Structure is complete with Roofconstruction taking place.

    002 Photo of (Building) North Western corner

    This louvre is the place where the lower plantflues will terminate which cross over throughthe main switch room.

    This occurs due to the glass louvre on theWestern front not being installed.

    003 Photo of looking into the services risers

    This photo depicts the hot and cold watervalves immediately accessible inside theservices risers.

    This allows the Hotel maintenance staff togain quick and easy access should anymaintenance items requiring isolation of thewater supplies.

    Hot Water insulation is still to take place and isbeing completed at a later date

    004 Photo looking into Services Risers

    This photo depicts the view looking up into theservices risers.

    It shows the HDPE soil stack with thejunctions extending from each room.

    Firecollars are fitted and have the appropriatelabeling installed.

    This photo depicts the HDPE stack again withthe Mechanical ducting alongside the coppercold water supply pipe.

    3.1 Comments Arisinig from this Visit are:

    The plumbing installation is generally in accordance with what was detailed on the approved design

    documents, and we have no concerns over the workmanship or the stage where the Plumbing Trade

    is at in relation to the main construction works.

    3.2 The General Standard of the Work Observed is:

    Good, and we note that the local Council has undertaken all the necessary inspections and witnessing

    of water and drainage tests along the installation as required in NZBC.
