Thank you for sending your
winter items your family no
longer needs to our Share
the Warmth campaign.
Because of your donations,
we were able to give each
classroom a supply of mitts,
toques and scarves to have
on hand when they are
needed.
*Special thanks to the
Wasson family for the many
pairs of new winter boots!
On November 5 at 11:00 a.m. students, staff and family members joined in remembering our veterans with a Remembrance Day Service. The Royal Canadian Legion Colour Guard was on hand for the program. Thank you to those students who played a part by being the MC, reading poems, and laying the wreath.
With a number of conflicts still occurring, it is important to remind our students of the sacrifices our veterans made for our freedom and also for the continued vigilance of our troops around the world today. Your donations to the poppy fund were very much appreciated by the Legion. Thank you to Mrs. Kreklewich, Mrs. Ball and Mrs. Kitch for organizing the service.

made possible by the Yorkton Exhibition Association who covered the cost of the transportation. The students visited various stations where they experienced hands on learning and heard many interesting facts about farm life and agriculture. The favoUrite part of the day for the students was petting the animals, especially the baby pigs. It was a very enjoyable day packed with learning and fun!

continues to be filled with a variety of noon hour and

Crafts Club, Battle of the Books, Yoga Club and
Cooking Club, to name just a few, are ongoing
throughout the months. We feel it is important to offer
extra-curricular activities to our student population and
we pride ourselves on being able to offer ‘something for
everyone’.
MILLIONAIRES IN THE SCHOOL: The “Millionaires in the School” program began on October 22 . Each Thursday (unless
games or practice commitments dictate otherwise), every classroom will have a Millionaire player to help out from 9:00-
10:35 a.m. The players listen to the students read, help with schoolwork or act as an extra set of hands in the classroom.
The players are excellent role models for our students and they look forward to interacting with them each Thursday.
