Welcome
WELCOME to the ‘One Day Immersion in TV, Cable & Digital Entertainment’ conference!
We’re so glad you’re here today. Whether it’s in person or watching on-line, you’re in for a great day of education and insight about this revolutionary and always evolving media industry. ODI will give you incredible opportunities to hear from and speak with many of the smartest and most talented people across a variety of media industries.
The people invited to be a part of the ODI advisory committee and those participating in today’s conference are passionate about education. They jumped at the chance to help develop the conference and share their stories and advice, which can create some new ideas and direction for your career path.
Not only do we have multiple interactive panel discussions, including the team that launched the new millennial network - pivot, but Meghan McCain is here as our Keynote to enlighten and shake things up a bit. We’ve included 2 workshops to help keep your skills current and sharp; ‘Jump-start Your TV, Cable & Digital Entertainment Career in College’, and YOU As A Brand, and Some traight Up Career Advice’. In addition, you’ll hear from Students of the World, and the inspiring work they do, and an overview from the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, an organization with over 500,000 members. To complete the day, make sure to stop in the Career Resource Session to learn about internship and job opportunities from local companies. It’s our own mini career fair.
We wanted to provide a conference where you felt comfortable approaching your peers and the participating executives. Take a chance, put yourself out there and meet five new people today. Exchange business cards; practice the all-important 30 second elevator speech, and take advantage of the resources in front of you.
I’m looking forward to your feedback, post event. Thank you for your support!
Warm regards,Dolly WolfOwner, Dolly Wolf Enterprises, LLC
